Project Runaway: Klum Invites Britney to Live with Her

While the likes of Britney's father, her former manager Sam Lutfi and someone proclaiming himself to be the pop tart's new lawyer each fight for control of Spears' life, an unlikely ally has come forth to take in the wayward child. "[Britney] can call me and come live in our house with us for a couple of months," Heidi Klum says in an interview to be aired Monday night by the German broadcaster ARD. "I would help set her straight."
Klum perhaps is looking to return a favor, seeing as Brit gave the Project Runway host and mom of three some indispensable diapering tips during Klum's last Halloween bash. "She explained to me a lot of things about diapers that I didn't know," Klum shared days later on Ellen. "You know these sticky [tabs] on the side? I never knew that they were there."
Actually, Klum says in the ARD interview, "I am sorry when a young person gets thrown so off track," and that's why she's reaching out to Spears. "She has, of course, lived an extremely wild life." Well, of course, yeah.

I love how Heidi is like I'll set Britney straight. Really? She knows something about mental illness? Since it's clear after two trips to Cedars that Britney is struggling w/ a mental illness I think Heidi might want to us a different forum to grab the media's attention. The girl's family has taken control. The fact that her parents are separated and have come together in the courts to help reign in their daughter I think people should let her heal and get the help she needs. She's not partying and acting like a brat. She's sick. There's a difference. Heidi's comment is annoying.

Heidi is no Marie Curie but she has always impressed me as having some bit of native intelligence, shrewdness maybe. I think it's a little harsh to criticize her as being without experience in the mental health field.
I think she is simply making a "what if" kind of offer. While there is certainly the possibility of her holding to the offer I think she is positioning herself as a sort of surrogate big sister rather than as a therapist.

Of the many celebrities who have said they want to "help" Britney Spears, Heidi Klum's proposal, serious or not, seems as reasonable as anything else I've heard. Heidi Klum actually knows her, seems to have a stable home life with a husband and kids...that's going to be less helpful to someone suffering from an illness than being alone or surrounded by a freaky entourage?
Even little Bindi Irwin's invitation to go camping would be better than the situation Brit finds herself in now.

Whether Heidi knows anything about mental illness or not, it's nice to see acknowledgements from people that she needs to get well who aren't trying to use her for business purposes and that they would like to help. I guess you could argue that Heidi is just saying this to get some press time, but she can do that already with the PR finale coming up.
I, too, though, am wondering how Heidi had three babies and kept all their diapers on without the sticky tabs.

Since Heidi has small children in her home, inviting Brtiney into her home makes Heidi sound as crazy as Britney. It's a lovely gesture but Britney needs more than a nice place to stay to get herself in order.
As for the diaper story, I refuse to believe anybody can possibly be that dumb that they don't know about the adhesive tabs on the diapers. Did she not have a niece or nephew? Did she never see a diaper commercial? It sounds like one of those phony, made-up stories these celebs use when going on talk shows.

Off topic, but shouldn't Britney's Sinead O'Connor-do have grown out enough by now to be sporting a cute, short cut rather than those horrid extensions? Again, honey, listen to the people who care about you, not the people who tell you what you want to hear....

Not everyone uses disposable diapers - Heidi Klum may have been more familiar with the cloth ones. Either that or she was joking and it was taken out of context.

I don't think Heidi is dumb by any means - look at the career she has carved out for herslef as her modeling days dwindle (unfairly due simply to age, she's still quite beautiful). I think she must have made a tongue in cheek comment about the diapers. Either that or she is so lucky as to have a diaper nanny

1. No short n' curly hairs in the tub
2. BYO weave shampoo
3. Obey bathroom, shower and puking schedule
4. Discarded condom wrappers, old boyfriends and flop singles go in trash
5. Crack is not for babies. Use Red Bull only.

Actually, Heidi might have the makings of another hit reality show on her hands.Heidi House could feature different screwed up celebs living with the tough German supermodel and if they didn't follow the rules, they'd be auf'd!

Is Heidi CRAZY! she took Shar Jackson husband Kein Federline away from her and now look what is happening. what is stopping Britney from taking Seal away from Heidi???. I do not care what advice Britney gave her on disposable diapers (which i feel is hard to believe she has the sense to know about them) but to have someone like her in her state of mind move in with Heidi Klum which she is a newlywed with Seal who is not bad looking at all. Wrong, Wrong, Wrong move Heidi...DON'T DO IT! You will end up on the tablods with Britney HEADLINE: OOPS I DONE IT AGAIN.

C'mon, if Seal - or any man - were to choose Britney Spears over Heidi Klum, they would not be worth having around.
Plus, Britney didn't steal Shar's babydaddy (they weren't married) - you can't steal something if it jumps into the loot bag
