Prison Break Continues for Fourth Season

Prison Break by Michael Lavine/Fox

Fox has ordered a fourth season of Prison Break, to run for 22 to 23 episodes... and all the way to the Left Coast. Sources tell TVGuide.com the serialized thriller — which will pick up where the strike-shorted Season 3 left off, with Michael on the loose and seeking revenge against The Company — will relocate to Los Angeles. The show's production was based out of Texas.

Of course, your first thought will be: Hey, now Jack Bauer can lend a hand! Except he, as bad luck would have it, is stuck 3,000 miles away in D.C. for Season 7. — MWM

Wow, that makes me so happy (especially still in my Jericho cancellation funk). And what really rocks is that Prison Break always starts earlier than almost anything else of the fall season, so as soon as Burn Notice ends, I will have my boys of Fox River back (to only hope we don't have to wait until after the winter hiatus to see Sucre and, well, less of Lincoln)

It never ends!!!! Give new shows a chance (like Terminator)... This show should've ended two years ago!

I am thrilled it's coming back. This is one less show I have to worry about now whether or not it's coming back. I didn't like it that the boys split up at the end and I want Sucre to get out and have his happy ending.

I'm glad to hear that it's been renewed. The season finale was in no way a proper series finale. They were obviously setting things up for a season 4.

i don't know how i feel about this.

i was pretty happy to hear that we'll be getting another attempt at getting an actual ending to the series, as someone who's seen every ep, pretty happy with that.

on the other hand though, the show got worse and worse as this past 13 ep season went on, ending with well just a horrible ending.

Sucre in prison/ t-bag in charge of the prison underworld / alex mahone for some completely unknown reason teamed up with whistler and that bad actress whose name i can't quite remember, i mean she was just sooo horrible on the show, do we really have to suffer through another batch of eps with her??? and why on earth would mahone want to be in league with these guys when all he had wanted to do the entire 13 eps was to get out from under them, and to dissapear???? doesn't make any sense!

arrrgh,very frustrating. i know for a fact that i'll be watching the show, it is a roller coaster ride of a show, but they better have some better ideas for stories least they have me cursing at my tv weekly asking them why i'm still watching this show??? when i could be savoring the much more sublime How I Met Your Mother (which i at least have the good sense to tape every week so i can share that with my parents, how did i get them into that show?)

Please please please let the writers have a solid story arc this go round.

also i just want to add, i liked the story of this past season when it started, those first couple of eps were undeniably entertaining, but the show just went off the rails crazy this year. also i hate, hate, hate the new bad guys, i thought the whole point of the season 2 ending was that michael and linc took down the evil organization or whatever. what the hell guys???
