It's been rumored for a while, but now it's official. This year's Primetime Emmy Awards, to be held Sept. 21, will feature a new statue for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Show.

So, who's your favorite ceremonial master (or mistress) to take the prize? Last month, Survivor host Jeff Probst was the fave among TVGuide.com readers. — J.R. Whalen

I'll take Tom Bergeron over any of them. He is funny and quick witted and interesting.

Anybody but Seacrest.

Phil Keoghan is the greatest reality host. Period. (He also has what must be the greatest job in reality television.)

Tom Bergeron, hands down.

Tom Bergeron?! He's the main reason I abandoned DWTS.

I am curious about how narrow/broad the definition of 'host'. Heidi Klum for sure, Tim Gunn if he qualifies.

I agree anybody except for Seacrest.

Really? It takes skill to host a reality show? Personality yes, but skill?

Yeah, I'm rooting for Phil, but Jeff and Tom would be good too.

I would vote for Julie Chen over Ryan Seacrest honestly. Her "but first"s are better than his "After the break"s.

Anderson Cooper, for The Mole.

Phil Keoghan over Probst, by a hair.
Chen over Seacrest.

I dunno about that wildbill. The ChenBot doesn't display much of either. :8}
