Pre-DUIs Lohan Said She Would Never Drive Drunk
Lindsay Lohan by Jamie McCarthy/WireImage.com
This is nearly as ironic as good ol' "Personalities on Parade" saying that LiLo was committed to getting clean, in a story that ran mere days after her second DUI. (Gotta hate that long lead-time.) In an interview with the September Elle given before her first DUI scrape, Lindsay Lohan said it's "scary" living under the ever-watchful eye of a media "looking for me to, like, trip, so they can be like, 'Lindsay's wasted and driving drunk.'
"I'm much more responsible than that," the starlet fronted. "I would not do that." (To be fair, she may have meant "...only once.")
Lohan is now reportedly holed up in Utah's Cirque Lodge rehab facility, though her rep tells Us magazine that to confirm that buzz "would be counterproductive to the medical treatment she's receiving." As would be passing off two garage-door remotes and a strap of Velcro as a SCRAM bracelet.

If TVGuide would stop printing stories about Lindsay, Paris and Britney I would buy a lifetime subscription.
Seriously, at this point they are not news, just fodder for ridicule and insults. Please report when they provide some benefit to society.

Why do the editors at TVGuide.com insist on including Lindsay Lohan stories? She is not even a TV personality.
This site should be devoted to TV and (maybe) its personalities. This isn't People or US Weekly. Remember who you are.

This news column has — since the early-aughts Ausiello days — and always will cover TV, film and other entertainment projects and its personalities.

How many times will Matt have to explain that all TV, film and entertainment projects/personalities will be covered before eveyone finally gets it. If you don't like the story, move along.

Agreed monaco497. It always makes me laugh that people take the time to post commentary about stories they claim to not care about. Somehow, I am always able to quickly scan right by the headlines I could care less about and take the time to read the ones I do.
I have always seen this site as an entertainment website, and unfortunately, the silly antics of Hollywood's younger set count as entertainment to many.

I agree that if there is a story about someone you don't like or care to know about, just skip the article. I think Matt does a good job at making the "entertainment news" fun.
If it makes everyone feel better, Lindsay was on The 70's Show, Paris was on Veronica Mars and Brittany was on The Mickey Mouse Club. Those were all on TV, so it comes back to TV somehow.

It doesn't bother me that they sometimes include a celebrity who's not technically a TV person. If the article is about someone I'm not interested in, or about a TV show I don't watch, I'll pass that article by. No big deal. As for Lindsay and Britney, I do believe they're train wrecks and won't mature any time soon. Paris, on the other hand, I think will come out on top. That's my opinion.

Agree with some of the above posters! People keep saying 'I don't want to read articles like this!" Well, guess what, you just did-again! You are actually promoting articles like this by posting and increasing the traffic! Like the Nielsen Ratings-sure, it tells you how many people watched a show, but it doesn't say wether or not they all liked it! Which only means MORE of the same!

Lohan is using rehab not to get "clean" but to stay "clear" of a jail cell. With all her vehicular mishaps her license sould be revoked by now. In my state drivers are on probation until they turn 21. Build up enough traffic violation points (half the amount needed to revoke an "adult" license) and the offender loses their driving privileges has to go to drivers training classes--at their own expense.
