Penthouse is getting into the adult-TV biz, signing a 10-year, $10 mil deal with adult network developer New Frontier to create a 24/7 bow-chicka-wow-wow network as well as a VOD service, says Variety.... Fox Business Network, launching Oct. 15, has added four more anchors: former CNBC correspondent Peter Barnes, Forbes.com's Jenna Lee, Bloomberg's Nicole Petallides and The Financial Times' Cody Willard.... A Sept. 25 release has been set for a pair of Roger Corman DVDs: The Intruder: Special Edition, starring William Shatner, and Eat My Dust! Supercharged Edition, with Ron Howard.... It's never too early to not care: the 62nd Annual Tony Awardswill be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 15, on CBS.

jillian - Well, yeah, there's Playboy, but they're pretty soft-core and don't really show much more than women frolicking in anything that can be filled with water and writhing around on a flat surfaces... not that I watch or anything... I like a little more meat in my porn Did I just say that?..... tsk tsk

As I read about the 24/7 network, I saw "The Intruder" graphic. Had to read further to see that one had nothing to do with the other.

Capt. Kirk and his multi-colored alien honeys did a lot more on Star Trek than they ever showed on The Playboy Channel...... (According to Daesey!!!)

As everyone reminds us of what actually is the sound of one hand clapping I'd like to take the time to say that The Intruder (along with Judgment At Nurmeberg and The Brothers Karamoazov) is a film that shows what a truly fine actor William Shatner is. That fact is often lost, not the least reason for which is Shatner's own ability and willingness to laugh at himself and to place himself in parody-able situations. Toupees and bad records aside I think the guys a treasure. Honest. Denny Crane.
