Paris Headed Back to TV in Search of Friendship, "Haters" Need Not Apply

It's sad to think that a woman who has everything has to turn to reality TV to find friends, but Paris Hilton is doing just that.

A source tells Us that the new show will feature Hilton searching for a new best friend. "Paris is tired of the haters," the source said, "and she's looking for someone new. She's looking for someone new and cool who she can trust." In her first TV project since The Simple Life, the show will reportedly reveal a different side of Paris, but I'm not sure which one that might be, since both her sides are so widely photographed already.

The show doesn't have a set net home yet, but it will likely air on MTV or VH-1 in a format that might be like A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila meets Next, but minus the making out (I hope). — Anna Dimond

Ah yes, and a reality TV show is going to be full of people just like that. It's not going to be full of people looking for their 15 minutes of fame. *eye roll*

This story is getting me absolutely nauseous. That waste product of a woman must have several screws loose, but will be starring in yet another reality show--to find a BEST FRIEND?--is almost beyond belief.

TV Guide, I suppose you will start devoting some little corner of this site to such utter crap every day once this show airs (unless some executive with a brain decides to drop the whole thing first), in which case you'd be committing journalistic suicide--not that you would care, right?

Pardon me while I go vomit.

Does anyone remember when TV actually meant real shows? When is all this reality garbage going to stop?

Perhaps one of the 20 something people who paid to see The Hottie and the Nottie would qualify as a "friend".

I'll stop thinking negatively of Paris when she does something positive, like checking into a cemetary.
