Original Lost Castaway to Face New Demons
Calling into question the ultimate fate of Lost's Michael (and, by association, Walt), Harold Perrineau has come on board Demons, CBS' pilot about a Jesuit priest who performs exorcisms. (Perrineau will play the holy man's best friend.) According to Variety, the original Lost cast member, last seen in the Season 2 finale, is in "first position" on Demons, meaning it's his primary obligation should it get picked up for the fall. OK, Vincent is so going to have issues. I mean, first Shannon and now this?!

I thought Michael supposed to come back! Was that the original plan for Lost!?
How will Jack and others find out that Michael was the killer.

Jack already realized that he was the killer at the end of last season; I hope we get one more episode with Michael and Walt before the series finale though - I'm sure it could be worked out between the networks (a la Patricia Wettig's one-episode return to Prison Break this season).

I could be wrong but this new show doesn't sound like one that would have mass appeal, at least not long term. It sounds like a wierd twist on the standard procedural that makes up 3/4 of CBS's schedule already. I guess that means there is hope for it if Criminal Minds can become popular.

Good! I can't stand either Michael or Walt. I was hoping they wouldn't be returning to the show.

There's no way they could bring Walt back anyway, without some sort of time travel storyline, 'cause that kid is growing up way too quickly.

Unfortunately, the poll left out my answer. I'm not happy about the move because now it's on opposite CSI NY and Medium. While CSI NY isn't as good as the original, it's tons better than Miami. So, unless CSI NY or Medium is being rerun at another date/time or available online, I'll have to decide which one I'm going to give up in favor of Lost. When will they make DVRs that allow you to record 3 shows at one time?

Some more info:
The chances that Harold Perrineau will be returning to *Lost" are slim to none. The Hollywood Reporter mentions in his article about the casting for "Demons" that there where negotiations going on to bring Michael back, but the sides couldn't reach an agreement.
So there you have it. It surely looks like Michael is gone for good.
