"Oh, Yeah... ": Katie Remembers She's an Actress

Has there been a security breach in Sector 7 of the Cruise compound? Nine months after delivering unto thee baby Suri, Katie Holmes is in talks to star in her first movie since... well, that whole Tom/Kate/"glib"/It's Not Chris Klein's/Italian wedding thing. As reported by Variety, Mad Money, a comedy about three female Federal Reserve employees who plot a grand theft, would find Kate looking for laughs opposite Queen Latifah, for one, and directed by Thelma & Louise scribe Callie Khouri.

Holmes, need you ask, will not be reprising her Batman Begins role in its follow-up, The Dark Knight, though it's up for debate who Bale'd on whom.

She may be an actress but she's no Nicole Kidman!

While I have nothing personally against Ms. Holmes, I have to admit that she was the weak link in an otherwise excellent movie. Her appearance in the credits have given me pause since she finished "Dawson's Creek".

Thank goodness! She wasn't strong enough for that role.

That's good that she's coming back to acting, but I'm glad she won't be back for the Batman Sequel. I thought she was terrible in Batman Begins. The next film will be better without her!

Is she still going by Katie Holmes or is she going to change her name to Kate Cruise?

I don't blame her for her work in Batman, love interests not named Catwoman really don't work out well for him.

I thought she was the only weak link in Batman Begins, so I'm thinking this is good news about The Dark Knight.

I totally agree! This is great news! I'm glad she will not be in the next Batman movie, she was the worst thing about the first one!

Katie rocks! She was AWESOME in Dawson's Creek, and she was good in Batman Returns. I may be the only one saying this here, but I don't care. Also, looking forward to see her on the silver screen.

Katie was not great in Batman Begins I am glad that Tom is letting her act again and I think she would be great to be in a comedy movie
