The Nine's Lives Are Up as Final Eps Move to ABC.com

What happened in there? How about, "What's happening in the ABC programming department?" The poor and the beleaguered The Nine has been pulled from the Alphabet net's schedule, leaving the final four episodes to see the light of day (or at least the light of that crappy lamp in your home office) at ABC.com.

Episodes 8 and 9 are already online, with 10 and 11 due imminently. Episode 12 will post Aug. 23, and the series finale goes up Aug. 30. A tiny ray of light at the end of this dark tunnel: Starting Aug. 31, I will be taking your "burning questions" regarding The Nine, and then getting them answered. Sound good?

PS. to Traveler fans: I spoke to Steven Culp today, and he let slip an interesting spoiler about the Fourth Branch. Watch for that full Q&A on Sept. 3, when Culp guests on The Closer.

And what of the ironically named Knights of Prosperity, which were also supposed to be on Wednesday night? Will we NEVER learn what was in Ray Romano's safe? And if they never show the final episode, will Ray and his wife have to get a divorce???

:O

Thanks so much for taking our burning questions and trying to get them answered once we've seen the finale episodes of The Nine!

What if some of us dont have computers? I have MSNTV2 that doesn support that kind of flash to see online programs. As always the viewer is screwed. As for the people on The Nine, they should find another bank.

Matt,

Thanks for the update. I searched last night when the Nine didn't air and of course didn't find any answers.

I will be watching online momentarily!

At least when NBC burned off the rest of Kidnapped they put it on at a ridiculous hour (thank goodness for TiVo otherwise I would have missed it) where the ratings game would have little effect. So we got to see all the episodes left without interruption. It's really annoying for ABC to get up our hopes of being able to see the rest of the season...only to have them dashed again.

I didn't even watch the show, but if TPTB at ABC HAB (have any brains) they'll put this on DVD PDQ. Look what it did for Firefly. C'mon, if they put such tripe as "Bridezilla" on DVD, surely The Nine earned it's spot on the TV DVD aisle?

WHAT???! I just watched the last two weeks episodes and was really looking forward to finishing out the show. What is ABC thinking? I really don't understand why this show didn't catch on! Looking forward to seeing some of the great cast on new shows this fall.

Thank goodness for TV Guide! If it wasn't for you all I wouldn't have known what happened to the Nine (going online), nor would I have known that it came back to TV this summer! My hubby & I were trying to figure out where Wed. night's show was on our TiVo last night and then this morning I found the answer on TV Guide.com! Thanks

Wow this page took too way to long to load.....please don't make us wait until Sept 3rd for the Steven Culp piece. Traveller fans can't wait that long.....this is just cruel to make us wait!!!

Here a question for ABC on The Nine. Ask them if the plan to release the remaining episodes of the series on the Amazon Unbox service for Tivo. I would be willing to pay the 1.99 to rent the episodes just so I can see them on a real TV screen. I can't stand watching a TV series in my home office when I can watch them in the comfort of my TV room.

Do the networks care AT ALL about the viewers???? I didn't think I would ever say this, but maybe it's time to give up TV since we don't matter and it just frustrates us!!!

I liked the show at the beginning. It did start to get too much like a soap opera. But like the Fox show Vanished, I wanted to know what happened and why (I am still waiting for a conclusion to "John Doe" from Fox). So I am glad you might have answers when all is said and done. (Meanwhile, The Killing Point on Spike keeps us entertained and we'll know how that ends. I think. I hope.)

Why can't ABC post the episodes at itunes for FREE? I could then watch with my ipod in the comfort of my living room! Seems to me the gesture would go along way for networks to make amends for canceling series.

I enjoyed this show the 1st time around. I was thrilled to see that they were going to finish airing the remaining episodes only to come to this!!

Full episodes are available to only the United States so we in Canada who might actually care about seeing the remainder of the shows are S.O.L.

THAT SUCKS!!! and ABC sucks. I'm so tired of them removing decent shows (Invasion; Six Degrees; Kyle XY)and it's the summer for crying out loud, who cares about the ratings!

I am so P'od!!!
