Nightline, GMA Continue ABC's Coverage of Va. Tech Shootings
ABC, which on Monday ran an extended World News with limited commercial interruption, will continue its coverage of the shootings at Virginia Tech, the deadliest shooting rampage in American history, tonight with an hourlong edition of Nightline, originating from Blacksburg, Virginia. Then, on Tuesday's Good Morning America, Robin Roberts and Chris Cuomo will anchor from Blacksburg, and David Muir will report from the Virginia Tech campus. Charles Gibson will anchor Tuesday's World News from Blacksburg, an area he covered as a reporter earlier in his career.

Robin Roberts couldn't "anchor" herself out of a paper bag. She's the reason I no longer watch GMA. Their decision to add Cuomo and that ridiculous "pretty- boy-with-fake-porcelain-veneers weatherman" to the broadcast ruined what once was a stellar team. Diane must hate working with such mediocrity.

I wish the press would call it "a horrible tragedy," or something equally generic, instead of "the worst shooting ever." They are just daring some other psycho to try to top the number. (Matt, I don't blame you - you're just echoing what the news networks have been saying over and over again.)
