'Night, Knights: ABC Sits Sitcom
Ray Romano can breathe easy — for now. ABC has pulled The Knights of Prosperity from the schedule for the foreseeable future, even though four episodes remain unaired and there's an outstanding order for nine additional scripts. Most recently, the Donal Logue starrer drew an audience of 4.2 million, hemorrhaging nearly two mil from lead-in George Lopez.
Filling Knights' Wednesdays-at-8:30 slot starting this week will be a rerun of According to Jim, followed on March 14 and 21 by episodes of Lopez.

Matt, isn't In Case of Emergency on at 9:30? I like it better than Knights (don't beat me people!) and would love to see all of the Jane Seymour arc.

BOOOOOOO to ABC. BOOOOOOO
This is (was? ) a GREAT show and I would have loved to see it continue. If it's not coming back next year, AT LEAST share the finished episodes with us. Another great show possibly killed before its time (if it comes to it, I'm sure Knights is in the Arrested Development section of TV show heaven)

Matt, I think you meant 8:30 for the time slot. However you slice it though, this is a travesty. Yet another great so that no one has watched, and the same people that don't watch it are probably complaining that there's nothing good on TV.
I think the serial format may have been it's downfall, but this show pulled it off well, in that each episode was also pretty self-contained. Still, it was improving almost every week, and I'm sorry to see it go.
Ray Romano was supposed to be their next target after he got all pissy with Kelly Ripa.

Yes, 8:30. See what a jumbled mess ABC's sitcom schedule has been?!

Even though I liked Emergency better, this show still deserved a chance. Maybe if this was on Comedy Central, it would have felt more at home there. In fact, I am surprised this got pulled before Emergency.

Looks like ABC is seriously considering picking the show up for a fresh start in the Fall, so all hope is not lost YET to save this great show!
ABC pierces armor of struggling 'Knights'
ABC is yanking The Knights of Prosperity from its schedule this week. But the struggling comedy may get a second life with a new white knight: Ray Romano. In last week's episode, he replaced Mick Jagger as the target of Knights' hapless burglars. ABC is considering a plan to renew the series for next season, adding new episodes featuring the Everybody Loves Raymond star to several already shot with him. Five remain from this season. Knights' Wednesday slot will be filled by repeats of According to Jim and George Lopez.

Yet another great [show] that no one has watched, and the same people that don't watch it are probably complaining that there's nothing good on TV.
Actually, I think the opposite is the problem - there are so many good shows on now that it's hard to add another to the list of favorites. I liked this show, but I'm an avid fan of 24, Lost, The Unit, The Office, Heroes, Prison Break and my DVR can only handle so much. Plus, at some point I have to spend time with the kids

lovejackbauer - I hear you. It's hard to add another show to the list when you watch so much already. My Tivo has only 35 hours, but I seem to max out all the time and have to delete some shows. I can't add another to the mix.

I'm really getting hostile with ABC for playing games with my fave shows. I really like Knights and In Case of Emergency. Of Course. Donal Logue and Grounded for Life shouldn't have been cancelled either!
