Nick Spies New Dora and Degrassi Movies

Thank goodness my sons have moved on to Wolverine, War Machine and whatnot. Nick Jr. on March 14, at noon/ET, will premiere Dora Undercover Spies, a new hour-long movie featuring that ageless explorer. Then, later that night, The N will debut Degrassi in Kenya, a documentary in which seven of the series' cast members team up with Free the Children, a nonprofit educational organization.

The Degrassi adventures continue (and get a bit less altruistic) on April 4, when The N unveils The Degrassi Spring Break Movie, which promises "breakups, makeups and mayhem." Well, of course it does.

That's weird. Why would they put a kids show on the-n? I thought the-n was geared to teens, not toddlers.

My 2 1/2 year old niece hasn't recovered from Dora Save The Mermaids yet. She found a Mermaid Dora beanie baby and won't go to bed without it. Woe is the big brother (11 yrs and 13 yrs) or Mama or Dad who deletes show from their digital recorder.

At least she's moved beyond Max and Ruby which she used to call Mass in Wooooby

Thanks for the laugh, GoodieGoddess! My 3-year-old granddaughter feels the same. She has Dora coloring books and crayons, a "packback" like Dora's, sandals, shirts, mittens, etc. We worked hard over the summer to get from "Max and Wooby" to Max and Rudy , too.:-x

I still haven't moved beyond Max and Ruby. :) When it was on Nickelodeon over the noon hour, my sons used to come home for lunch just to watch and laugh at it.

OTOH, the rest of us were very glad when my daughter outgrew Dora.
