MTV Launches Paris' Search for a New BFF

It's official, so someone wake up the four horsemen. MTV has ordered 10 episodes of the clumsily titled Paris Hilton's My New BFF, in which the celebutante will "audition" wannabe best buds through a series of reality-competition challenges. With an eye to a fourth-quarter premiere, casting is already under way via ParisBFF.com — where those who aspire to be tabloid tagalongs can make their case via posted videos and blogs — as well as many men's-room walls.

Lest you dismiss Paris as some mere reality-TV mannequin, be advised that she cocreated this new venture and will serve as an executive producer. Just a pretty face no more.

Admit it — do you find yourself just a bit curious as to how such a friend quest will play out? Or should PH have stuck with Facebook?

With all her jail-induced promises to be a better person, you'd think she'd take this chance to produce a reality show like Extreme Makeover Home Edition, where she can do something for less-fortunate people, rather than focusing the limelight on herself. I guess it just shows that a leopard can't change its spots.

Best Friends Forever...that's not exactly new, I was using that 15 years ago when I was in elementary school.

i cannot stand her... the only thing i will ever willingly watch with her in it, is the youtube clip of david letterman making fun of her, sorry interviewing her after she got out of jail.

now that is quality tv! lol

The only thing I can stand watching her in is House of Wax, where she is getting killed. I can watch that sceen so many times, and I always end up laughing.

I have as much interest in Paris Hilton as I do in contracting a flesh eating virus..HOWEVER Thunder 7 has some scary issues which he/she should look into.
