New NBC Seinfeld Show Really About Nothing

That is, much ado about nothing. On Friday, PageSix.com enthusiastically trumpeted Jerry Seinfeld's return to TV with a new NBC sitcom described as "Curb Your Enthusiasm, but with Jerry instead of Larry [David]." Which, let's face it, sounds like the worst idea ever, if only for its lack of originality. But fear not, defenders of David, for he shall remain the master of his creative domain. Because it turns out the Seinfeld rumors just flat out aren't true, as both NBC and Seinfeld very quickly came forward to put the kibosh on the story. Yadda yadda yadda.... — Mickey O'Connor

Jerry has made it quite clear that he has no interest in doing another series. These rumors are just the fantasies of desperate Seinfeld fans.
