Fall TV: NBC Unveils Its Premiere Dates

NBC has revealed premiere dates for its fall lineup, including a three-hour (!) opener for Heroes on Sept. 22, which leads into the two-hour first eppy with a one-hour clip show. Here are the highlights of the Peacock's plan, by night:
Monday, Sept. 22:
Heroes, 8 pm (clip show), 9 pm (two-hour premiere)
Tuesday, Sept. 23:
Law & Order: SVU, 10 pm
Wednesday, Sept. 24:
Knight Rider, 8 pm
Lipstick Jungle, 10 pm
Thursday, Sept. 25:
My Name Is Earl, 8 pm (hour premiere)
The Office, 9 pm (hour premiere)
ER, 10 pm
Monday, Sept. 29:
Chuck, 8 pm
My Own Worst Enemy, 10 pm
Thursday, October 9:
Kath & Kim, 9:30 pm
Friday, October 17:
Crusoe, 8 pm
Thursday, October 30:
30 Rock, 8:30 pm

Life premieres October 3rd, if I'm not wrong... 
On the other hand - 30 Rock, October 30th?! You have got to be friggin' kidding me!

Law & Order is being held back until midseason again. It's still possible that it could take over if any of NBC's new dramas fail to perform or if Lipstick Jungle fails to improve.
30 Rock's premiere is so late because SNL primetime specials will be airing in its slot over October.

Lipstick Jungle, but not Journeyman. What the frak is going on??? I loved journeyman, and it was one of the best sci fi on the air, alongside Battlestar G., Heroes. But Lipstick Jungle is soooo boring. Pretty soon, none of us will invest in these series anymore because the networks do not have the common courtesy of ending a series. They hang the fans out to dry, not caring that we are vested in these characters and storylines. Their killing their own ratings.

9/22 my fave show is coming back! Woohoo I love Heroes and can't wait. I'll need to watch the clip show to refresh my memory.

I have to agree, lipstick jungle over journeyman, I still don't think they take into count all the dvr watching, cause any show I really like I dvr to watch without commercials, interuptions etc.

October 30th for 30 Rock???! What the frak!!! That's over 5 months from now! Why would they possibly hold the show off the air until then? I know it's better than midseason, but still. This sucks.
This is one situation where a clip show is a good thing, for Heroes return. It's been so long since the show has been on the air.
