At the Movies: Jim Carrey Tries Guy Love
Per Variety, Jim Carrey will star in I Love You Phillip Morris, a dark comedy pegged as "Catch Me If You Can meets Brokeback," concerning a con man whose love for a released cell mate leads him to attempt several prison escapes.... Jack Black will front Year One, a comedy that Judd Apatow will produce, Harold Ramis will direct and cowrite (with a pair of Office scribes), and Michael Cera will star in.... Per the Reporter, Big Love's Ginnifer Goodwin is Matthew Perry's sis in Laws of Motion.... Kevin Bacon is chief-of-staff Jack Brennan in Ron Howard's Nixon/Frost.... Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil) will direct Spy Hunter, a big-budget take on the awesome '80s arcade game.

Okay, the plot of Phillip Morris doesn't even sound remotely interesting. Jim Carrey is losing it.

Year One is a combination of all of my favorite things. Except Jack Black.
But seriously Judd + Harold + The Office + Michael Cera = GOLD.

"Year One" sounds great! Now if only Ramis could coax Rick Moranis out of retirement for a cameo or supporting role, I'd be in line first. Whatever happened to Rick Moranis?

Gradius, now that was an awesome 80's arcade game.
Seriously though, Spy Hunter? What happened, did Anderson hear that Uwe Boll was making a movie out of Dungeon Siege, and say, "hey, I can do worse than that!"
