At the Movies: Innocent Man Speaks to Clooney
Per Variety, George Clooney and producing partner Grant Heslov are snatching up screen rights to The Innocent Man, John Grisham's nonfiction account of Oklahoman Ron Williamson's 11-year stint on death row for a murder he did not commit.... Open Water helmer Chris Kentis and Laura Lau are penning an adaptation of In Harm's Way, in which an estimated 900 World War II servicemen, after abandoning the torpedoed U.S.S. Indianapolis, floated for five days in the shark-infested Philippine Sea.

This was a great book. The best John Grisham has done in a long time. I hope they do the book justice.

Yes, The Innocent Man by John Grisham would make a Great Movie. But The OTHER Innocent Dennis Fritz's, was not mentioned much in The Innocent Man, and has his own Stunning and Shocking story to tell. He wrote a Book called "Journey Toward Justice" Publisher Seven Locks Press, Santa Ana, Ca. and is endorsed by John Grisham. John Grisham calls Dennis Fritz's Story Compelling and Fascinating. I expect him to be next to be called for Movie and TV offerings. I read the story about his unwarranted prosecution and wrongful conviction and I myself would say it is Compelling and Fascinating.
