Not that Hollywood cares but "a Scary Movie-esque send-up of cop films" has already been done...Loaded Weapon. Hopefully some of the unemployeed writers will use this time to write some original material. Don't wake me from my dream world please.

That was my first though, too, grablove, re: Loaded Weapon, but I think they're aiming here for more along the lines of The Departed. - MWM
