Mischa Barton was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence and possession of marijuana, following her arrest in December. The former O.C. star (and Keds spokesperson) was also charged for driving without a valid license.
Barton was arrested Dec. 27 in West Hollywood on an investigation of DUI for reportedly using two lanes while driving, plus failing to signal when making a turn. Her arraignment is scheduled for Thursday in Beverly Hills. Unfortunately for Barton — and as other fellow fashionable DUI arrestees can attest (I'm talking to you, Paris) — her well-known style sense will likely not improve her standing in a court of law.
That being said, the actress has publicly (and commendably) taken responsibility for her actions, saying she was "disappointed" in herself. — Anna Dimond
