Milo and Hayden: Heroes Hookup Talk Heats Up
Milo Ventimiglia and Hayden Panettiere by John Shearer/WireImage.com
Date the cheerleader, answer to the world. That's how Milo Ventimiglia must be feeling ever since rumors surfaced (only to be denied) that he and Heroes "niece" Hayden Panettiere are romantically involved. People has crowned the couple "an item," with a source telling the tab that when the Heroes are together, "They're very affectionate.... He really takes care of her, even down to the little things like giving her a back massage." All my uncle ever gives me is a $15 check at birthday time.
Similarly, an "eyewitness" tells the U.K.'s Sun that at a pre-Christmas party at the Water Grill in L.A., "[Milo] called [Hayden] his girlfriend and said that he loved her."
Hayden's rep tells People, "We do not respond to inquiries from the media regarding Ms. Panettiere's personal life."

I dont know, but there's something about this relationship that makes me sick.
I mean, he's 30 years old and she's 18. He was 1st working with her when she was all of 16-17 years old. That's just gross. He's a man, dating a child. I guess all the women his own age, are smart enough to run from him. From rumors I've read, he wasn't the best boyfriend to Alexis Bledel.
Bleh- I'll pass on rooting for this couple.

NBC must have Chris Hansen on standby.
What does Hollyeood do that makes age irrelevant in dating?

Hmmm. Milo got a lot of exposure on Gilmore Girls mostly because of his relationship with Alexis Bledel. Although he has a modicum of talent there is something a little twisted about a man working it to the top on the hem of a female associate. But not a word about it in the rumor mills as there would be about a woman "making it on her back."
Although Hayden shows talent now, just think how much better she can become if she is allowed to develop and expand through more challenging roles. Would Milo's ego accomodate that?
All of this is conjecture because I don't KNOW anything for sure. But I do know his language is coarse and crude, and his behavior with a young lady in public is less than exemplary. Perhaps that isn't enough to judge a person, but if he will do it in public, just imagine what he would do in private. Do I like him? Not so much. But as I said, I don't know him personally.

First off, we don't know these people but you're judging them, and over something based on a "source" who blabbed to a mag?? Second, anyone who's a fan of Heroes knows these 2 have undeniable chemistry, so if it is true, we shouldn't be that suprised. I just turned 30 and I still feel like I'm 18 yrs old. I don't feel 30 at all. With that said, I don't think Milo dating Hayden is that big of a deal unless your bored and have nothing else to complain about. 12 yrs is not that big of an age difference these days. Now if he was 40 and middle aged, that's gross. But a just turned 30 yr old male (who happens to look 18) dating a 18 going on 19 yr old female, I'd say that's pretty darn normal these days. Are people reminding Demi Moore how old Ashton was when she did St Elmo's Fire?? Why don't people ever say things about the older woman younger man, but when it's the older man younger woman people always have an opinion.

Just because he doesn't look, feel or act his age, doesn't mean he should date an 18 year.
The fact is he IS 30.
I'm 35 and look like I'm in my early 20's. Doesn't mean I'm gonna date an 18 either.

In a year the stories will be saying how awkward it is for the two to work together since they have had a bitter break up. What I don't get is I was reading about this on another site and they said he was old enough to be her father and even put their ages in the story. Okay that seemed the ookiest thing to me in the story... they thought he could be a 12 year old father.
On the other hand, she doesn't meet the "half your age plus 7" rule so I guess he shouldn't be with her.

I think young celebs grow up fast. Doesn't make it right, it just is what it is. She has kept herself respectful and proven to deserve respect. Love is love. Hard to find at any age. None of us know how these people truly are so I say let it be. If it's real that's great. If it's an itch, it will be relieved soon enough.

Come on people - we all know that 18 in Hollywood years is actually 28. Just ask Britney and her little sister!

Age differences like this don't bother me so much. There are an awful lot of couples out there where the man is 30-40 years older. In any case, Ms. Panettiere strikes me as 18 going on 35 so I'm pretty sure she can take care of herself!

Age differences usually don't bother me either. So, I have no idea why this seems so wrong to me.
If she were 25 and he were 37, it wouldn't bother me. But 18 and 30? He just seems so much more mature than her. She looks like a teeny-bopper. She looks so darn young. Him? Not so much.

I am 33 and my boyfried and I have been together since I was 21. We are 12 years apart. We're getting married in March. Time for me to grow up I guess. ha ha. The difference does matter in some areas of our life, like our view point on different issues but its not something we think about on a daily basis. I have seen nothing or heard nothing bad about there relationship other than the problem some people have with the age difference. It's not like they are living together or getting married today. Give them time before you past judgement and see where it takes them. I thing they're cute together and wish them all the luck, together or apart.
