Miley's Really Ready to Show and Tell?

Miley Cyrus has been the poster child for the rare combo of superstardom and restraint, but things may be changing. The teen phenom is coming out with her personal memoir via the Disney Book Group — but that's not all. Just as she made the announcement, she may have revealed a little more of herself, with some bra-baring poses in pics purportedly of her.
In a statement to the AP, Cyrus promises that the book — due out next spring — will be about her mom's role in her life and the importance of strong family bonds. "I am so excited to let fans in on how important my relationship with my family is to me," she says. "I hope to motivate mothers and daughters to build lifetimes of memories together and inspire kids around the world to live their dreams."
In the meantime, however, Cyrus has possibly shared more than family values with her fans. In addition to the upcoming book, revealing photos of a young woman resembling Cyrus have been circulating on the 'Net. In one, she's pulling down a tank top to reveal a green bra, while in another, she's lounging, bare-stomached, on a guy with his hand on her hip. TMZ, of course, has done us the favor of sharing.
We've already seen some possible glimpses of the teen phenom experimenting with some seductive poses. Is Miley morphing from her squeaky-clean Hannah Montana image into a new arena? It's not the first time we've seen purported pics of her posing like a temptress, so is it part of growing up, albeit publicly? And can she reconcile her clean, tween self with the emerging adult inside? Dish it up. — Anna Dimond

How in the world is this "child" writing a memoir. What is the book gonna be like 50% pictures and still only be like 30 pages long. You must be kidding me. I guess people will buy anything. LOL!!

Um, Anna, other news sources are saying this is clearly a Miley lookalike exposing the bra. And I believe that, if for no other reason than that Billy Ray would never let those pictures happen.
And I really HATE your "dish it up" comment. It reduces TVGuide.com to being a purveyor of sleaze. Please try to remove the "ick" factor next time.

Katcon--right behind you on the "dish it up" remark--TMZ is sleaze at it's best--is that the road TVGuide wants to follow? I have also read the other news sources--does an entertainment lookalike rate a story? I mean the first part about writing the book--yes, that is legit. The remaining part--speculative sleaze--no.

Only resembles her, does not look like her, and even the TMZ posters are starting to realize that this is not legit. I'm surprised that TVG would past this off as established fact.

If this is not her in these photos or the ones before, why hasn't she come out and say "these are not me". She has not denied anything. What is the proof it is not her. That upper lip is hard to copy.

Why should she come out and say "these are not me"? I don't think she owes anyone any explanation and I don't know how we got to the point we felt like celebrities owed us any explanation for every little thing that is drudged up about them, even if it isn't them.

Ahh, yes, tv guide, the trash rag. We'll print anything about anyone, verified or not, and we won't do anything when we find out it's NOT true!
I feel sorry for the people that actually read this garbage and believe it.

Sure I agree with you to a point. It happens once, ok. It happens twice, then I would start to worry about this. Who is the "other girl"? So it starts with pictures. Then what? Identity theft? Miley and her parents should worry if it is not her. This girl sure does have a remarkable resemblance to her.

I hope it is her. I think she's hot. I see nothing wrong with her crossing over from a squeeky clean Disney Girl, to becoming a sexier Pop Star. I wish her all the best with her career.

I think I figured out why I dislike the whole Hanna Montana frenzy.
The underlying core of it, is Miley Cyrus standing in front of the world screaming, "Look at me! Look at me!"
The supposed pictures don't surprise me in that light. Is this girl a byproduct of 21st Century sense of self?
Then again it could just be the infamous "15 Minutes Of Fame" in our culture.....
Bah. Maybe I'm just growing old.
