In Wake of Racy Pics, Miley Not Muzzled By Mouse

Contrary to rumors that the Mouse House was forcing its favorite child to lay low, Miley Cyrus is in fact set to perform Saturday at the Disney Channel Games in Orlando, Fla.

The show — which wraps a week-long charity event at Walt Disney World — comes on the heels of Cyrus' acknowledgment that she was "embarrassed" over photos from a Vanity Fair shoot that surfaced last weekend. The pics, which feature Cyrus in less clothing than her typical Hannah Montana attire, were widely discussed for their provocative nature. Intrigue surrounding the pics was so intense, in fact, that the volume of traffic temporarily crashed the VF site.

In terms of moving on, however, Miley may not have to worry as much as the photo fuss might make it seem. As one expert tells People, "The audience is going to let this one go. The parents are going to forgive and the kids are going to love her just as much." — Anna Dimond

Is this one fans will move on from?

Ah--excuse me? As opposed to what? Tarring and feathering before running her out of town? Is this TV Guide's new policy? Keep trying to stir up some kind of controversy over a 15 year old? Nice.

I've been thinking about what *I* was like when I was 15, and really, even with all her clothes on, Miley is one sexualized kid. That heavy eye makeup? The sexily tousled hair? Her uber-trendy, tight clothing and the knee-high boots she was wearing during the Idol Gives Back show? She's been set on the path of being too sexy for her age ever since Disney started the Hannah Montana machine.

Miley is not the only teenage girl "sexulized". Take a look around at other teenage girls not celebrities and OMG! I even heard that a part of Georgia is trying to change way these girls dress. Public schools are requiring uniforms. Everyone is getting all crazy about this picture what about Jamie Lynn Spears!! The media is all over this like it's normal and acceptable. Will she have a boy or a girl. What color is the nursery. What kind of shower will she have! Come on! What kind of message is this sending to girls who idolize her just as much as Miley? I feel so bad for the baby what a family to be born into.

Well, considering that a quote of her saying how much she loves Sex and The City has just also recently been leaked I do think this will all just blow over soon enough. I also still say that her family and management could have stepped in and stopped the shoot if they objected to something since they were on set at the time. Disney may issue public slaps on the wrist but in the end, it's business as usual.

I think people should just leave Miley alone. She said she made a mistake, she's only human. I did alot worse things when I was her age.

Wrong!!!!

Miley's **parents** made the mistake. Why did they support this photo shoot?

She's just a little girl!
