During their downtime with the strike going on, it seems more stars are getting ready to start or grow families. Currently on production hiatus, 24 star Mary Lynn Rajskub is now pregnant with what we expect is a mini computer genius. It will be her first baby with live-in boyfriend Matthew Rolph.... Ethan Hawke and girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes are expecting their first child together. Hawke already has two children with ex-wife Uma Thurman.... People reports that Paris Hilton, meanwhile, had a "sleepover" with Nicole Richie and baby Harlow, who Paris said looks like both parents. Upon seeing the baby, the typically stolid Hilton said, "I was crying. I am so happy for [Madden and Richie]." — Anna Dimond

Well, I guess Mary Lynn won't have to act pregnant...

Mary Lynn must have really gotten into Method acting! Wasn't her character pregnant on 24? Or maybe she was just that convincing as a mother on the show. Will be interesting to see what they do about that on the show....if it's ever in production within the next 9 months.

Things like this could really get interesting in light of the WGA strike. "24" has filmed the first eight episodes of the new season. But what if the strike delays production until Mary Lynn Rajskub is already showing?

Does Chloe suddenly gain a lot of weight between hours eight and nine (maybe they could have terrorists make her swallow a bomb?)? Does Chloe get an extra big computer screen, so we can only see her head peeking up over it? Or does Chloe just disappear from the narrative?

Like I said, this could really be interesting. "24" is in one of the biggest predicaments of any show because of the strike: if any actor goes through a significant physical change (or, say, has to alter his or her appearance during the downtime for another contractually obligated role), the producers are going to have to come up with all sorts of gimmicks to hide or explain the changes or else it's gonna seem weird in the "24" hour format.

I believe the new season of "24" --whenever it finally gets on the air--will take place AFTER Chloe has already had her baby. But that leaves the real-life Mary Lynn Rajskub's pregnancy to deal with. However, at the rate things are going, she might have her baby before it becomes a concern for the show.

In any case, I'm madly in love with Chloe, and I'm glad the show had the sense to keep her even after making sweeping cast changes involving everyone else.

yes, 24 starts up after Chloe and Morris' baby is born - I believe in an interview she intimated that Morris would be a stay at home Dad.

I'm happy for Mary Lynn!
