Mary-Louise Parker Weeds Out the Baby She Wants

Mary-Louise Parker by Mark Seliger/Showtime According to People, the Emmy nominee has gone all Madonna-Angelina and adopted a baby girl from Africa. Because, um, what? Have we run out of leftover babies in America? Anyway, the actress has a 3-year-old son already from her relationship with Billy Crudup that, if my tabloid recall serves me correctly, ended when he allegedly dumped his preggers girlfriend for Claire Danes. This is the most obnoxious "news" writeup that I have ever read- I am ususally a good audience for sarcasim (if that is what this is)and read TVGuide for it almost daily (although I much preferred Michael Ausiello)- I am sad to say that this entry forces me to end my relationship with tvguide- a mother and child finding each other is an event that should be cherished and honored- not ridiculed- shame on you

No the problem is that if you adopt babies form this country, right after you've bonded with the child, the biological parents decide that they made a mistake putting the child up for adoption, and then they take it back, (which unfortunately is within their legal rights,) and then you end up broke (adoption is not cheap,) and broken-hearted. Take it from me...It ain't worth the hassle. If you can afford to avoid these types of issues, why wouldn't you?!??!
