Manager Says Britney's Mental Problems Are Treatable
Britney Spears by Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage.com
Britney Spears' manager and public ally, Sam Lufti, let the ladies of The View know that his client's seemingly increasing mental problems are "treatable."
During Monday's show, View cohost Barbara Walters said that, according to Lufti, Britney is (finally!) getting psychiatric treatment. And while word on the street (the one that Ba-Wa lives on, anyway), is that, while Brit's still having mood swings and a tough time sleeping, she's getting family support, professional support and overall, is moving in the right direction. And not a moment too soon. — Anna Dimond

Not sure if I buy it or not (actually I really don't), but Sam ... you just go right ahead and (as in public relations) spin away!

Barbara's lifetime of journalistic experience has served us well once again!
I'll be able to sleep so much better tonight knowing that Britney is getting "help"--whatever that means.

Most mental health issues are treatable, if the client is willing to follow prescribed treatment. The problem is once she goes off her meds, starts drinking and staying out all night, she'll be right back where she started. I'm not the only one who sees another Anna Nicole, am I?

Brit,
Through all of the turmoil that you have experienced in your life, there is one thing that you still have...MONEY. You need to take a bunch of it and go away somewhere far and get yourself together. You cannot continue to be exposed to the press, and stress yourself out on a daily basis. I cannot believe someone in your family has not done this for you already. Doing this will enable you to take a break, regain your strength, and make it possible for you to later on get your children back, and start a fresh career. You have so much talent, but lately you are letting yourself be exposed way too much to the media. When I say "exposed" I mean physically and mentally. Grow up girl. You want to do grown up things? OK, now it's time to step up to the plate and give your kids something and someone to be proud of. They are far too young to be without their mother. Act like you realize that and make quick strides to change your situation. Best of luck, and God bless you. Stay stong and as Tupac would say; "Keep ya head up."

I still don't believe she's mentally ill. It's just an excuse for her bad and reckless behavior.
She rushed into marriage and kids when she wasn't ready and now she doesn't want to admit to it. Basically she's have temper tantrums and rebelling like a teenager. Time for Britney to grow up!

I don't think she is mentally ill either. The British accent & the trip to the pharmacy are calculated for publicity, as is the fact that she chose an Arab paparazzi. She is pulling a smart publicity trick to cover the fact that she is a druggie. (Just look at her complexion and the constant need for sugar.) She can't dance anymore and she never could sing. I just watched the Christina Agiulierra (Sorry if that is misspelled) special the other night on TV and was blown away. Britney could never have put that much into a performance. Britney was a cute little girl & she sang some cute little girl songs. Her time is over & she can't take the truth. Better crazy than a has been. That seems to be the way Britney sees it. I wish the press would just dump her.

Yeah.....Good luck with that one.
She won't listen to the LAW ~ Why would she listen to a doctor???? Next you'll hear that her doctors don't want her either.
BarbyAZ ~ I agree with everything you said. She doesn't even come close to Christina Aguillera's voice. SHE can sing!
LadyK2000 ~ I also agree with everything you said.
