Low Blow: Pal Says X-Rated Pics Aren't Idol Beauty
Had a bad day, indeed. Last week, photos surfaced of American Idol wannabe Antonella Barba in various states of undress, wearing only her cupped hands or rose petals or a wet T-shirt. Then over the weekend, racier fare bubbled to the surface of the Internet, photos that purport to show Barbra engaged in a sex act. Yet Amanda Coluccio, who auditioned for Idol alongside Barba (but got booted in Hollywood), says the X-rated pics are not of her friend.
"I've studied them," she tells the Newark Star-Ledger, echoing some/many of us, "and it's not her nose." As further evidence, Coluccio says her gal pal "has never had [acrylic nail] tips" like the woman in the photo. "She's the least slutty person I know." So Amanda's least slutty friend does the rose petals/hands/wet T-shirt things? I wanna party with her.

Rose petals, huh? So, let's see -- she's done American Idol and American Beauty. Maybe for the trifecta, she could do the next bad direct-to-video American Pie sequel.
She may never be the American Idol, but maybe she could be Miss Nude Jersey, er, I mean, Miss New Jersey.

I think it shows Amanda is a true friend that she is willing to scrutinize and analyze these pictures. We should all be blessed to have such a friend who'll have our back when salacious pictures surface.

Thanks, plinstrot, but there are also similar "studies" which suggest the photos are not her, based on less-easily Photoshopped earlobes and such.

Are any of the pictures her? The ones at the WW II Memorial? The ones on the loo? The ones drinking alcohol?

BTW, does Antonella or any of the other contestants know these pics, whether fake or real, are out there? I don't know how insulated the contestants are from the outside world while on Idol. They have access to phones, TV, and computers I would think.

The only photos being contested by Ms. Coluccio are the "sex act" ones. The rest are Antonella, it's rather obvious.
I believe I read somewhere that Antonella does know what's going on, and is aghast at what her parents must be thinking.

I read at USA Today that she is in tears. I was wondering what her parents must be thinking too.
I still don't like the photos of her in the WW II Memorial fountain. That's very disrespectful, but I do feel bad for her about the other more graphic ones that aren't her. This could have been done about any of the contestants. Wonder if she's thinking about taking legal action--if there's any way to find out who posted the pics.

Those ones turn me off way more than the alleged sex act ones. As far as I'm concerned, no "American Idol" should be using American monuments and history in that manner. She's out.

Dianora, I agree. My greatuncle fought in WW II. The pictures are an insult to him and the other men and women the memorial honors.
I wonder if Catholic Uni will do anything--especially about the ones where she has alcohol. She's certainly not the poster child for the school.

I'm still getting over the "least slutty person I know" comment. Too funny!
Do we really care though? This girl wasn't going to make it far in the contest. She's not talented enough but at least now we know that she has another career to fall back on.
