Love Notes: "Sculforniston" and More
The latest hookups and bust-ups, per People:
• Jennifer Aniston's new mystery beau? Brit Paul Sculfor, a 6-foot-tall, 36-year-old former boxer and construction worker turned model. In other words, he has abs.
• Kate and Owen? Splitsville, but "still friends."
• Jessica and John? "Definitely over" after their latest makeup/breakup. Jess left wondering, "Hmm, why does he only get back with me for upwards of 15 minutes at a time? And always in a hotel room?"
• Friday Night Lights' Minka Kelly? Spied "making out" with Fantastic Four's Chris Evans at a Blackberry Curve launch soiree. (New York Post)
• JonBenet Ramsey's father and Natalee Holloway's mother? Dating. (And off I go to feed sordid conspiracy theories to Weekly World News.... )

JonBenet Ramsey's father and Natalee Holloway's mother?
Please tell me you're kidding! I can't put my finger on why, but somehow that is super creepy.
Besides, I thought she was married?

Yes, Natalie's mother was married. When I heard on The View that she was dating John Ramsey, I googled it. She got divorced in Jan.. She and her husband had only been married four years when Natalie disappeared (remember she was divorced from Natalie's father and remarried). I am willing to bet that all the stress did not help their marriage.
She and John met through a speaker's bureau.

Please tell me this is one of those "one headline is fake" gags...
Speaking of gag, Natalee Holloway's mother with John Ramsey? That's like OJ dating Dina Lohan. Creepy... This guy gets play and *I'm* still single? Man, that kharma sure is a bi-otch!
Excuse me whilst I go shower with a Brillo pad...

Daesey, reminder-John Ramsey was never even charged let alone convicted of anything. There has been more then one detective/investagor who believe there is evidence an intruder killed JonBenet.
I was at a convention where Ronnie Cox, who played John Ramsey in a movie, was a guest. I asked him his opinion of the case. He was adamant-that he felt it was a case of media railroading(sorry Matt-I'm sure you would never do such) and that John and Patsy had nothing to do with JonBenet's murder. He had studied the case for the part and met JOhn.

For whatever it's worth, I know the guy who was the ghost writer for the Ramsey's book and he was fully convinced of their innocence.
Nevertheless, creepy hook-up........

I totally respect your opinions, lindalee and kailess, but I don't agree. Too many things didn't add up for me, that's all.
PS- I noticed no one took me to task for OJ's sake.. <giggles>
like you said... Nevertheless, creepy hook up...

Oh come on Daesey, you KNOW OJ didn't do it!!! That book was just a "if I had done it" kind of thing. (Either that or maybe more of us are ready for Dina Lohan's demise?)

Actually, it kind of makes sense for John Ramsey and Beth Twitty to get together. Both have lost a child and understand the pain that goes with that loss. It's a club no one wants to join and once you're a member you're there for life. If they can find comfort in each other, who are we to judge?

I wasn't going to comment, but katcon, I thought your answer so perfect, and I totally agree. No one can understand the pain of losing someone, except those who've suffered loss themselves. The situation of losing Natalee probably took a toll on the parents' marriage, and if she can find some comfort in someone who suffered loss, John for instance, good for her, and good for them. As katcon said, "who are we to judge?"
