Lohan Injured in Crash and Cited for DUI; Cocaine Possibly Found at Scene

Before we get started, let me play devil's advocate and say it is entirely possible she was simply racing to an AA meeting. I'll report, you decide.
Lindsay Lohan was slightly injured and later cited for investigation of driving under the influence when her Mercedes SL-65 convertible struck a curb — I hate how those always get in the way — at 5:30 am Saturday, on Sunset Boulevard. Lohan and two others were in the car when it crashed, but (fortunately) no one else was hurt and (fortunately) no other cars were involved.
Per the AP, officers at the scene found a "usable amount" of a drug tentatively identified as cocaine, but declined to say where it was found other than to say Lohan was not carrying it. A photog for X17, which first reported on the crash, says Lohan about an hour before the incident looked "completely wasted... like [she] had been partying all night, and she appeared to be in no condition to drive."

Who didn't see this coming?!
Clearly she is screwed up, and the question now is will she go the way of Hendrix, Morrison, Farley, or will she get her act together.
I never wish anything bad on anyone, so hopefully she finds some way to pull it together before she hurts herself (more) or others.

She does realize she's not that good of an actress and that things like this are the reasons everyone thinks she's basically a waste of time? I find it amusing that one of her goals is to ultimately win an Oscar. FOR WHAT PERFORMANCE??? Young actresses like Natalie Portman, Rachel Adams, Evan Rachel Wood, Alexis Bledel - those are actresses who have amazing talent, something Lindsay is sorely lacking.
She really should just stick to being one of those trashy Hollywood party girls who get in the news because of stupid things they do. Cause that's really all she is good for.

I wish her the best - please take care of yourself Lindsey. In the meantime, if you want to do drugs or alcohol, that your choice - just don't get behind the wheel.

It seems to me I wrote this once about Brittany - where is her mother? I know Lohan's mother is part of the problem, if you can believe what you read. I don't believe it all but somehow I think this is the truth. This girl is very talented and she's going to blow it. I hope she wakes up soon before she goes the way of - well before something really bad happens to her.

I feel really bad for her, because she seemed to have such potential. She was good in Mean Girls and A Prairie Home Companion, the only two movies I've seen her in. She did a decent job hosting SNL, and I thought she had a promising future.
Then I heard she was trying to be rail-thin (like all the others) and I quietly thought 'oh, no'. And it's been a downhill spiral ever since.
Now she's endangering the lives of others and I have to see, sadly, she needs to follow Paris into jail...and hopefully a court-appointed rehab that actually works (as opposed to the PR-rehab that has become all the rage.
Seeing her being interviewed when this last movie of hers came out, all I could think as I was watching her was, she's way too young to be avoiding SO many subjects. Can't talk about the partying, can't talk about the infamous letter about her behavior on the set.
On Ellen, she talked about her plans for her 21st birthday this summer (partying in Vegas...yeah, good idea)! Now there's a very good possibility she'll be marking the day behind bars. In the long run, it might be the best birthday ever for her.

I'm going to say something else since TV Gord stole what I was going to say (well, at least partly).
CinderAngelkc, you're right about something, Dina Lohan is part of the problem. Daddy was locked up and she didn't get control of her daughter. Think back a bit. When Lindsay got in trouble on the set of Georgia Rule, wasn't she out with her mother and a couple of friends when she shuold've been at the set? Mama L wants to sit up and make excuses for her daughter because she's young instead of Lindsay owning up to the mistakes that she made so far. It's called being irresponsible on both sides. I honestly feel bad for her She has a problem, and like TV Gord ('sup) says she need to be right behind bars with fellow frenemy Paris. If this is what it takes to save her natural disaster of a life, then it will be well worth it. She's too talented of an actress (not singer) to be doing some of the things that she's doing. Some people would love to be a star someday, but when you see Lindsay, Britney, Paris (I still don't know what she is), and the like mucking up their lives, it makes you want to reconsider things.

Dina Lohan isn't just part of the problem-she is the major problem. She's been seen numerous times partying at the clubs with her daughter, who is not even 21 years old. And how come authorities aren't going after the clubs that allow her in and allow her to drink? I work in a bar and if we get raided and have anyone without ID or underage, we will get fined and could lose our liquor license.
Given the downward spiral of her career in terms of box office and her endless problems like this incident, it won't be long before she's just another washed up, has-been skank trying to get on some VH1 Celebreality show, and I for one cannot wait. I am just sick and tired of these priveldged dolts like Paris, Britany and Lindsay roam around without a care in the world while other underpriveldged kids are serving their country and losing their lives in Iraq.
And for those who will undoubtedly bash me for being too harsh and mean, well let's imagine she pulls this one night and rams her car into another car carrying you or your loved ones. And if your underage kid was busted yet again for underage drinking and carrying cocaine and fled the scene of the accident, I doubt they'd get the same slap on the wrist that Lindsay is probably going to get.
