Lindsay Lohan Not OK! with Lesbian Confession

Last week, in the wake of the dissemination of intimate pics of her and DJFF Samantha Ronson followed by dad Michael's gaffe, stories circulated that the assorted celeb weeklies were offering Lindsay Lohan mad moolah to use their pages to "come out" as a lesbian. Specifically, insiders tell the New York Post's Page Six that OK! dangled in front of LiLo "around $1 million" to give them a cover story revealing a Sapphic bent.

Though one source tells Page Six, "Lindsay really wants this [deal] to happen, she needs the money," Lohan's rep denies it's happening, saying, "They sent offers and we passed." — Matt Mitovich

That is sick. As a gay teen I'm offended that OK! would offer her money to come out on their magazine. If she is a lesbian, she'll come out if and when she wants to.

"Sick" describes these tabloids' voyeuristic obsession with celebrities in general, P3freak90. If only everyone would just refuse to buy them, then advertisers would stop paying and they wouldn't have $1 million to offer.

okay, I'm skeptical Lohan is gay. I think she is doing this just to keep her name & image on everyone's minds & in the media. Do I think she is going through a "phase" NO. Do I think she is doing this for publicity (i.e no publicity is bad publicity)? YES! Ok should donate the $1MM to a GLBT organization to teach tolerance not to sell papers!!!

I miss the old days when Michael Ausiello used to run this section, at that time called simply "Entertainment News." Sadly, this has now turned into just another gossip rag. :(

Even if she's really gay, she would never do it. It would effectively end her movie career. At least as a star. Once people know a star is gay, they can't believe that star in any straight role. Look at Rupert Everett. He came out and never got another leading man role. It's why Jodie Foster has resisted coming out for so long. Look at Portia DeRossi. She can easily pass, but she still can't get leading parts despite her experience and looks. She has been relegated to lesbian roles on cable shows. It's just the way it is.

Ausiello is moving on to a less pure garbage entertainment news provider in "Entertainment Weekly" beginning in July, 2008.

Come on Matt - you have to be able to do more than just be TMZ Jr. over here.

This page has sucked since Mike left it in your hands. Not blaming you, realizing you are a very busy dude, just stating a fact.

I have a feeling Mike leaving "TV Guide" just might be what makes this site irrelevant.

This is probably a ploy just to keep in her the public eye.
