Papa Lohan: Lez Be Clear, I Didn't Out Lindsay
Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson by Djamilla Rosa Cochran/ WireImage.com
Michael Lohan has stepped forth to clarify comments he made to a celeb weekly but that were put in the wrong context, one that suggested he had outed daughter Lindsay as a lesbian.
Dad was quoted as saying that the true nature of LiLo's relationship with DJFF Samantha Ronson — the gals recently were caught by paparazzi in a close moment — "is evident to anyone with half a brain," when what he really was commenting on was the nature of ex-wife Dina's new reality series. "I was saying that it's evident the show is not about being a mom and a manager. It's about Dina," Michael tells the New York Daily News.
"Lindsay's life choices are up to her," he adds. "[She and Ronson] are friends, they're always together. I hug my friends, does that make me a homosexual? Of course not." — MWM

Yes...Anyone with half a brain can see that SaMANtha Ronson is a lesbian.
If HE had half a brain he would keep his mouth shut.
I guess it's hard to keep your mouth shut when there is always a foot in it.

ZZZ999, while I won't argue about the rest of your comment, simply because a woman is named Samantha doesn't make her gay.
No, my name is not Samantha.
And yes, Mr. L., you did out Linds, which should be evident to anyone with half a brain. Your clarification makes no sense. A little back-pedaling, maybe after being contacted by someone in Linds' or Dina's camp, hmm?

How can it be considered "outing her" when she makes no secret about her relationship with Samantha? They're shown quite often holding hands and kissing. And even if he did bring it up, what does it matter in this day and age when homosexuality is no big shock and certainly no longer a career killer?

It's not her name that makes me think that!! It's everything else.
Anyway ~ He didn't out her as a lesbian ~ Just confirming that she is a bisexual bimbo. Remember a few months ago she had supposedly hooked up with 3 guys within a day or two?
Oh well ~ Maybe Dina can sue him for it.
Lindsay is just the epitome of class ~ Just like her Mom. Honestly I think it's a bit scary to think of how she is going to end up. She is already supposedly hurting for money and already an alcoholic. Not gonna be pretty. She may even end up worse off than Brittany. If that is possible.

Mavrick - I read ZZZ's comment as her saying Samantha loooks like a man, nothing about the name meaning that was a give away.

I think it was just a moment where Lindsay kissed another girl. It happens. Doesn't mean she is gay or even really bi. Just means she felt like doing it at the moment. If it was a regular occurance then maybe but at this point who would be surprised or really even care about what she does? Linsay got old really quick.

I feel for Lindsay and Britney in that had they both had better parents, maybe they're careers would be marked by awards and not so much trouble. How Lindsay's mom won a mother of the year award is beyond me. What a joke.

Her father is just another hanger-on trying anything to keep up his name in the public forum.
He's a jailbird loser who should never be listened to or reported on.
As for the notion of Lindsay being a lesbian, seriously who cares.
Look, I have a simple rule of thumb. If they aren't sleeping with me, I don't care who they are sleeping with.

CinderAngelic, I don't remember "piehole" when Mrs. Harper taught me all the compound words in elementary school, but okay...I'll go along with it...seven words.
You know, with all the garbage around Lindsay, I've always wanted to like her. She did a good job in Mean Girls and A Prairie Home Companion (the only two times I've ever seen her, other than that blink-moment on Ugly Betty last week...and when she hosted SNL).
It reminds me of JLo. In the early stage of her career, I read all these horrible things about her, but then she'd do an interview here or an interview there, and I'd think...she seems normal. Then the attacks would begin on her again, and it seemed to be beyond her control. I never really came to her defence, but I always thought she wasn't getting a fair shake in the media. I mean, what was her crime that earned her all the anomosity?
I know Lindsay has made many more mistakes (considering her age). Driving impaired is a deal-breaker for me...yet I still want to give her the benefit of the doubt.
Maybe all of this angst we've witnessed from her over the past few years is just her coming to terms with her sexuality. I don't know whether she is or isn't gay, but even though it's not as career-ruining as it used to be, it still sets tongues to wagging. Maybe we are starting to get a few more pieces to this puzzle.
