Leno Guests on Kimmel, and Vice Versa

Does Jay Leno "Jimmy"? Apparently. With their struck shows not having the easiest of times booking guests, this Thursday the hosts of NBC's The Tonight Show and ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live will appear on each other's late-night talkers. "There are only a few people in the world that know how tough this job is. Jimmy is one of them," Leno tells the AP. "It will be fun to discuss who's a good guest, who's a difficult guest and everything else that comes with sitting behind these desks." (One example: Jimmy can describe to Jay what actual audience laughter sounds like.)

Kimmel himself tells the AP, "If Jay and I can come together and guest on each other's shows, surely there is hope for peace in the Middle East." Well, let's not go that far; this isn't Rosie and Donald making a sex tape.

Uh, Matt, shouldn't it be "Jay describing to Jimmy how an actual audience sounds"? I mean, Leno was actually funny on his first night back while Jimmy was figuratively grasping for straws especially with Andy Dick as his first guest (I did love, however, Dick's spoof of the Hepbern Gap commercial).

If O'Brian replaces Leno when he leaves, I will no longer watch The Tonight Show. Cound I dare hope this might be an overture to having Kimmel replace him instead?
