Fans Refuse to Leave Las Vegas, Launch Rescue Plan

You've invested in nuts, shopped online for football-shaped night lights. Now it's just a matter of swinging by Babies "R" Us and picking up some baby booties — if, that is, you want to join in the campaign to get a "real ending" to the recently canceled Las Vegas. The "Save Las Vegas 2008: Operation Baby Booties" campaign at LasVegas-TheSeries.com hopes to convince NBC to deal loyal viewers one final hand, in the form of wrap-up episodes addressing the non-series finale's many loose ends. (Danny and Delinda, for the uninitiated, were about to become parents just as the season finale went to black.) "We deserve more," declares the campaign organizers. "We deserve a real ending to the series we have followed for all these years. We aren't going to allow NBC to think they can dump us so easily."

For the latest on the Las Vegas situation, see the Ausiello Report. Mike's got a Q&A that fans will definitely want to read.

I love Las Vegas and can't believe they are cancelling it. Fans brought back Jericho so hopefully if enough fans rally we can keep Las Vegas. There is to many cliff hangers to leave it like this.
NBC needs to rethink this stupid move. I love Friday nights I watch all the shows from 7:00pm thru 10:00pm central time on NBC.
Please help fight to keep this show on.

It is not right that they are the fans to it must pay for other persons. We have followed Las Vegas from the first nose-dive for 5 years (beautiful), fans we deserve of the respect. To begin a series tv and not to finish it, leaving as final a clif it is not right.

I ask excuse for my English.

Have the baby belong to someone other than Danny and bring back Mary and Nessa, and I'll join in. Otherwise, who cares, let it die.

Keep Las Vegas going! It's one of the best shows on tv and not too hard on the eyes either! Great cast, good stories, sexy but not repulsive. What? You got that many shows as good to take its place. I don't think so.
I do miss Ed though. Dropping him wasn't the best decision. Tom Selec needs some dialog. Him standing around smoking isn't cutting it. All I want to do is open a window.

Pacio- Your English is 100% better than any other language I have (which is exactly none), so as far as I'm concerned, there is no need at all for you to ask to be excused!! Your post was just fine.:)

I just don't get it. The best shows always get cancelled, while the dumb ones keep showing. What the hey? Please do not consider cancelling Las Vegas. My husband and I truly look forward to this show. Friday nights are off-limits for going out, just because we do not want to miss the show. Listen to your fans ~ keep "LAS VEGAS", please!

This is such a fun show. I really loved this season and was really looking forward to finding out about the baby, Cooper's past, was Casey coming back? The cast this year was fantastic. The addition of Tom Selleck was excellent. Why NBC? Why couldn't you have at least given us our last 3 shows? I am no longer watching any NBC shows because of this. No more Office or 30 Rock for me.

NBC needs to do the right thing for a change. They need to be held accountable when they make poor decisions like this. It's time viewers let them know how we feel. We have invested 5 years of our viewing time into this show and in return NBC cancels the show on a huge cliffhanger. I have donated money for booties and sent letters in support of the show. Give us a proper ending NBC. Show us you care about your viewers.

I stopped watching Las Vegas awhile back, and I could really care less about it being canceled. It was something that should've been done a LONG time ago!! They totally sold out beginning in the 2nd season, and everything became ultra cheesy afterwards.

Don't waste your time. Save your energy for real quality programming, like Friday Night Lights. That's worth saving. Las Vegas isn't.

I think we can do this, save the show, or at least let them have the ending they want and what the fans deserve.
