Larry King and CNN Agree to Contract Extension

TVNewser.com reports Larry King has signed a contract extension with CNN that keeps him at the network through 2010.
CNN did not comment on the specific terms of the contract, namely whether it includes King hosting Larry King Live (weeknights at 9 pm/ET, CNN) through 2010. Recently, it has been speculated that CBS anchor Katie Couric may be eyeing a move to CNN to host the interview show if she were to leave her post on CBS Evening News. — J.R. Whalen

And people wonder why CNN has lost 2/3 of its viewers to FNC???!!! JFC!!! King is a goddamned walking corpse!!! Get him the HELL out of there!!! The man is an embarrassment!!!
I don't like Katie Couric. But anybody with half a brain knows that she'd be a good choice to take his timeslot. And what do they do? They extend his contract!!!
Jon Klein and Jim Walton, you should have your sorry asses fired...like yesterday!!! As long as these two idiots are in charge of CNN, the network will NEVER have a shot in hell of being #1 again.

More often than not, King sounds like a jibbering idiot during his interviews--and that's when he's talking to someone he knows! When it comes to musicians and singers (other than Tony Bennett), he sounds so clueless it's cringe-inducing.

I read awhile ago that he has such bad foul smelling gas that he cannot control ~ They actually installed a fan under his desk to try to blow it away from the guests!! I guess they will have to put a new motor in it now.

This is just pathetic. Larry King doesn't know a thing about any of his guests and just makes a fool out of himself on a nightly basis. It's time to put this geezer out to pasture.
