Britney's ex turned subpoena machine Kevin Federline will guest-star on the CW's One Tree Hill when it returns midseason, playing Jason, "the cocky, enigmatic frontman for No Means Yes, a seminal rock band from the fictional town of Tree Hill, North Carolina."

Federline will appear in a multi-episode arc, or at least until he's earned enough money for a new Xbox game. His previous acting credits include a not entirely awful October 2006 eppy of CSI.

This whole thing disgusts me. It's such a cheap and trashy way to try to bring in ratings. I just hope he doesn't really sing. :(

I can't believe a respected show like OTH would bring him in.;)

Well a respected woman like Britney brought him in, so who knows...

When it's ratings we're talking about, producers forget about respect...

Please don't let him sing... Please don't let him sing... If he sings, please make my power go out that night...

Well, as long as he doesn't sing, I think it'll be all right. I mean, the episode of CSI was actually pretty good and his insurance commercial was actually pretty good and funny. Maybe he can be better at something instead of singing and Mr. Brittney Spears!

the CSI episode was good - his appearance was unbearable.

The best part was when he got punched in the gut by George Eads' character.

What a way to ruin a perfectly good show. I'm going to go puke now.
