Kelly Clarkson Revs NASCAR's Engines with Race Track
This Sunday during TNT's coverage of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California, NASCAR will break a new ad campaign featuring Kelly Clarkson crooning "One Minute," one of the tracks from the American Idol's new album, My December (streeting Tuesday but currently free to sample at MTV.com). The ad was filmed during Clarkson's appearance and performance at the 2007 Daytona 500, where she also sang "Miss Independent" and "Since U Been Gone."

Resort to Nascar? I think it's brilliant considering total fan viewership last season reached 75 million people and that average attendance at any given race is 150,000. When is the last time you were able to reach that many people at once? Nascar is HUGE with people from every walk of life. Get with the times, Lawler, us rednecks aren't the only ones loving us some Nascar these days.
