Kelly Clarkson Reveals Concert Dates — Take Tour!

Your first American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, will tour North American venues with special guest Jon McLaughlin starting Oct. 10 in Verona, New York, and slowing to a stop (My) December 3 in Nashville, People reports. Clarkson's original concert slate in support of My December was jettisoned months ago due to lackluster ticket sales, PR black eyes and such. Her first few new tour destinations can be found at Clarkson's website.

Actually, poor ticket sales had nothing to do with Kelly's decision to cancel her original concert slate. Clive Davis and her old manager had everything to do with that! The former tried to prevent her album My December from being released, and the later tried to help him do it...which is why she fired him. Both of those factors forced her to tank her original tour. But the minute she hired her new manager, she was able to get that back on track.

I don't know why she is getting the cold shoulder. I heard the album and personally, I think the album is a good album (Sober is an amazing song)...if you're into her music, which I am not (I'm not a fan, just giving my open-minded opinion).

My December is the best album Pat Benatar never made, and I mean that as a huge compliment.

Personally, I'd much rather see Kelly perform in a concert hall than a stadium. I hope her tour shows up close to me.

Yeah, I personally think My December is a great album, great songs and a few really outstanding tracks.

Jon McLaughlin is great too, so seeing him and Kelly is going to be great
