Katie Holmes Runs and Runs (But Not from Tom)

Katie Holmes on Sunday morning ran more than half the New York City Marathon in anonymity — that is, until Tom Cruise (with baby Suri in tow) dashed out onto First Avenue (at 96th Street) to give his missus a smooch. Upon completing the race in just under five and a half hours, Holmes told People, "I'm good, but I'm feeling very tired" — as is her entourage of auditors. (It's hard to find Scientologists from Kenya.)

Yes, let's ridicule someone for running in a marathon. The woman can't sneeze without someone making a scientology joke out of her.
Great job Katie!!

Obviously Tom couldn't let Katie continue the race without getting his picture taken. Poor woman. Saddled to that man for another 4 years.

I have to agree with the first comment. She completed a marathon how about a simple congrats. I am no Tom
Cruise fan, but his behaviour of being there on the sidelines for her is the norm. When I have done races there are family and friends all along the way. I would love if my husband managed to show up along the way.

I find it amazing that she ran an entire marathon without any apparent support undergarments and was reported to attend a premiere or some other publicity thing for the midget. I've known some people in pretty good condition who've run marathons and by the end of it, they're weren't in any kind of shape to be out on the town due to dehydration, muscle fatigue, etc. So, does "anonymity" mean "inserted more than half-way through"?
