Katherine Heigl: I Won't Cross Picket Line for Globes

At least one of this year's freshly minted Golden Globe nominees might be a no-show for the big event. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight from a Wednesday WGA picket line, Grey's Anatomy's Katherine Heigl — since nommed for best supporting actress in a TV series — said of the Jan. 13 Globescast, "I'm not crossing the picket line [to attend an awards show] unless I'm contractually obliged to do so. And I'm not [obligated] with the Golden Globes."

And I should care that someone isn't going to be at some Award ceremony where fellow actors pat each other on the back for doing their job because....

I'm glad Katherine Heigl has conviction. I'm just sick of hearing about that conviction all the damn time.

Good-don't let the door hit your a..! No one cares what Ms. Heigl thinks, because the actors and writers and producers are too busy giving the finger to the viewing public. Until the writers start counting change for the bus, or the poor people start losing their houses because there's no work for them in the related businesses-nothing will be decided.

At we won't hear her bash "Knocked Up" again...

She really is starting to think she's something special, doesn't she? She's just another pretty, mediocre actress who'll be on some E! "Where Are They Now" show in 5 years.

What do you want to bet ET sought her out and asked her if she'd be attending the ceremony or something along those lines? I really doubt that she initiated the conversation or asked ET to be there so she could give her view. If she was a D-lister, maybe.

Totally. Heigl has become Hollywood's go-to gal for soundbytes because she doesn't bother to censor herself.

It was refreshing at first but like everything the media gets their hands on, it's become too much. I really just don't want to hear from her anymore and I wish media sites would stop trying to turn every single thing she says into a huge deal.

Who cares if she doesn't cross? I don't think she should have anything to cross for. Her nomination was a joke, she doesn't belong on the list anyway as her character has done nothing noteworthy this season or last.

I bet if she had brown hair and smaller boobs she'd have a lot less haters.

I doubt it breakdown. One's outward appearance has very little to do with how annoying a personality they have.

Also I don't really think Katherine Heigl deserves to be nominated. Where is the Golden Globe for Chandra Wilson? If anybody on Grey's deserves a nomination it's her!

Chandra Wilson is the only thing worth noting on Grey's Anatomy. There were bright spots in season 2 but it's amazing how far the show has fallen. And to still be fawned over on these award shows? Ridiculous. KH can say she's not going to the Globes because of the strike, but it's really because she has no business being in any top 10 list of "best tv actresses." Yikes. Just my opinion, but yikes.

She's not going because she KNOWS she's not going to win. So by not crossing the picket line, she will look good to all the writers, and when they come back she'll get the best dialogue. Stupid she's not!
