Judge to Britney: Gimme More... Urine Samples

According to court papers obtained by the AP, Britney Spears has been ordered to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week, as the singer negotiates custody with ex-husband Kevin Federline. "Based on the evidence presented, the court finds that there is habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol [by Spears]," the judge says in the documents. Spears must also meet for eight hours a week with a "parenting coach," who will observe and report back to the court on her mad mothering skillz.

Federline, like Spears, is required to neither drink nor use drugs around their two children, but only Britney must submit to testing.

Honestly, that's just incredulous. If it's going to go that far, BOTH parties should be tested.

I agree. It's only fair that if one parent has to be tested, both should be. Who's to say that K-Fed isn't just hiding it better? I do, however, think that it was a good move on the Judge's part either way.

But after finally seeing that horrible performance Britney gave (I tried not to, but I ended up getting a glimpse of it), I do wonder what kind of drugs she was on. She looked like she was on another planet.

One thing that isn't here is that BOTH Britney and K-Fed are being ordered to go into joint co-parenting counceling. Another good move on the judge's part.

Federline definitely should be included in that order, given his notorious partying ways that the press has been overlooking lately. Or the judge could at LEAST do some community service here and require him to abstain from releasing another CD.

Someone had to tell these idiots that this is not good parenting...

I swear... people should have to pass a test in order to raise a child. Any idiot can impregnate someone or give birth... this doesn't automatically make them good parents. It kills me that there are so many deserving childless couples or people unable to conceive... and these idgits are popping 'em out, one after another...

Are you saying that the paparazzi wouldn't photograph Kevin partying because they like him? NOT! Obviously he does not party to the extent that Ms. Spears does!

What really amuses me is the way the courts get involved and tells these two knuckleheads how to raise their kids, how to act around them and how to conduct their lives. Meanwhile the knuckleheads that live next door to me do pretty much what K Fed and Brit do but nobody gives a c**p except maybe the cops that have to show up a couple of times a month.

No, but the press has clearly found their angle for the moment. When he and Britney were married, the focus was on HIS drinking and partying and multiple babymamas. Now it's all, "K-Fed and Mama Spears conspire to save the kids" as if he's a benevolent and responsible parent.
