If you do in fact "Jimmy," some good news. On the heels of the news that Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien would resume their respective late-night talkers on Jan. 2, 2008, ABC has announced that Jimmy Kimmel Live will return with fresh shows that same Wednesday night.

"Though it makes me sick to do so without my writers, there are more than a hundred people whose financial well-being depends on our show," Kimmel says in a statement. "It is time to go back to work. I support my colleagues and friends in the WGA completely and hope this ends both fairly and soon."

Yay! I'm glad he's coming back. Jimmy is my favorite late-night host, and my husband and I have really missed him.

I have to agree. It will be great seeing Jimmy, Cousin Sal, Uncle Frank, Veatrice, Guillermo, Cleeto & the Cleetones, Dickie and all the others back on air. Now I just REALLY want Colbert to come back on. :)
