Jessica Simpson Too Bad an Actress for the Big Screen?
C'mon. They keep letting Ashley Judd make movies, and (sorry) I can't stand her. Anyway, Us Weekly says the ex-Mrs. Lachey's new flick, Blonde Ambition, is so bad it makes Shanghai Surprise look like Chinatown. As a result, a source tells the mag, it's going straight to DVD. Wow. That's gotta hurt almost as much as Vanessa Minnillo's irritatingly constant weight.

I like Ashley Judd, especially compared to her sister, but the only movie of hers that I REALLY like is Kiss The Girls. The rest have been either bad or just eh.

We all knew this was a disaster as soon as Matt first told us about it.
A Working Girl remake with Jessica Simpson, Penelope Ann Miller, Luke Wilson and Andy Dick?!? Who would pay to see that? Who would even watch it for free?

OMG, I totally cant stand Ashley Judd either!!! Thanks so much for sayin' it. She's such a condescending jerk and not a very good actress either... granted she is better than Jessica. But still, she bugs!

What does Ashley Judd have to do with Jessica Simpson's movie going straight to DVD? Anyone who thinks Ashley Judd can't act has not seen Ruby in Paradise or Heat or the above-mentioned Kiss the Girls.
So, come on, JBBoy, tell us how she's condescending. I'm with Leah here.
But, I'm with Chappy on the Blonde Ambition idea. Really, what were they thinking? Or, were they thinking?

I haven't seen a lot of Ashley Judd movies, but I've never found her to be a "condescending jerk." I don't get where that is coming from.
Did you have an unpleasant personal encounter with her, jbboy?

Hey, I like Ashley Judd! She may not be the best actress ever, but she certainly seems to be leagues above Jessica Simpson in the talent department, in my opinion anyway.

I am not a fan in any way of Jessica Simpson. I do feel sorry for her and can not believe they are allowing her to do more movies. Now she is remaking Private Benjamin type of movie. UGH- I wish they would have had someone else in that movie. Oh and her dad is one sick person.
