Sources close to Jessica Simpson and John Mayer have confirmed to TV's Extra that the couple has ended their nine-month relationship with each other, as well as with the supermarket checkout.

Sounds like someone came to realize that while the body may be quite a wonderland, the conversation, you know, just wasn't there.
