Jericho fans would be nuts to miss out when executive producers Carol Barbee and Jon Turteltaub (along with cast members Lennie James and Brad Beyer) sit for a panel discussion hosted by TV Guide's Craig Tomashoff this Sunday at the San Francisco WonderCon. "I will discuss alternate endings for the [current] season and look beyond to what could happen in Season 3," Barbee tells us. "I will also tease the death of a major character that will occur in Episode 4."

What's more — "and bigger than everything" — Barbee notes, "I will give clues of the identity of the person who masterminded the initial nuclear attacks on the USA."

The Jericho panel will be held from 1 to 2:30 pm/PT, at Moscone Center South.

Could we be so lucky that Jericho will be back next season in a better time slot?

If the ratings are any clue there's a better chance of it snowing on a 90 degree day in July then Jericho getting renewed again. I think that's probably due to the poor timeslot CBS put it in to ensure it failed.

The only good news that I know of is that they have pulled the release of season two DVDs from production.

Is that good news? Or does that mean that they don't plan to release them at all? Forgive me for being pessimistic, but I can't help but think of Everwood. I had never seen the show, but bought season 1 based on good word of mouth. Now it appears that the rest of the show will never be out on DVD.

monkey65, I'm kinda with you on this. I really got into American Dreams when it was on the Peacock, and passed on seasons 2 and 3, figuring I'd just check out the DVDs. Stupid me, 'cause they didn't release jack after S1. How do you not follow through with the whole shebang? Why would anyone invest their hard earned do-re-mi in a box set if you can't see the series through to the end? Nice marketing tactics, NBC!

bmp956, I did the same. Saw the first season of American Dreams, but for whatever reason didn't see the rest. When shows like Perfect Strangers and Pink Lady & Jeff(!) get DVD sets, and this one doesn't, something is wrong.

I was recently told that Warner Bros. will likely never release Homefront on DVD, either, because of music licensing. Who knew that 1940s music was so expensive? That's the show that I've been waiting on for forever.

Just a hunch, but I think the mastermind of the attacks will be some semi-vague reference to George Bush. Hollywood writers have a need to put it into everything they write these days, so I'm going with that. Probably that President "Who wasn't elected by us and doesn't represent us" or however they referred to him.

I'll be surprised if they decide to actually be creative.

Maybe the culprit will be Canada. No reason in the world to think that, but you have to admit it would really be a big surprise!

On the DVDs, I'm wondering if they aren't delaying because/in case they need or want to release "Season 2" at the same time as a "Complete Series" set.

I sure hope it is not Jake, Stanley, Mimi, Hawkins, Darcy, Bonnie, Eric or Major Beck...my heart could not take losing one of these after the death of Johnston Green...don't let it be.

It's my not so humble opinion. Mimi is the one who will die. She's now working for the 'government', I bet she volunteers to find info, get caught and killed. This sets off the rage of the usually laid back, wouldn't hurt a fly, Super Stan.

Just my guess.

As for S2 DVD, I'll wager they pulled it for a complete season boxed set.

CBS may not keep it, and unfortunately the stars probably cost too much, but it'd be great on Sci Fi. Better than Trash Gordon.
