Jack Klugman, 85, whose wife Brett Somers (famous for her Match Game quippiness) passed away last year, married Peggy Crosby, his partner of 20 years, on Saturday, according to Entertainment Tonight. Confused? It seems that the star of Quincy, M.E. separated from Somers in 1974, but they never divorced. Incidentally, Crosby is the ex-wife of Philip Crosby, the son of Bing Crosby. (Klugman's Odd Couple costar, Tony Randall, also remarried late in life. At 75, Randall married 25-year-old Heather Harlan, with whom he had two children before he died in 2004.) — Mickey O'Connor

Good for him it's nice to know there is always hope. From the looks of the new Mrs I don't think they'll be having any late in life babies like Tony Randall.

It's not so much that he looks good now as that he's always looked old...he's just grown into it :^O

A bit of trivia here: Before they separated in 1974, Brett played "Blanche" on The Odd Couple, the ex-wife of Jack's "Oscar", in a handful of episodes. On a couple of other episodes, one of their sons, Adam (who's a terrific guy), played "Little Oscar".

Brett had also played "Siress Belloby" on an episode of the original Battlestar Galactica, for those of you who recall: she was chasing Adama's affections in return for something she had that the fleet desperately needed. Funny stuff.

Peggy, on the other hand, was seen about a half-dozen times in Jack's later series, Quincy, in various small roles (usually as a waitress).
