« Today's News: Our Take
Isaiah Washington to Be Plucked by Peacock?
Has Law & Order found its next ADA? Is Las Vegas getting a new flirty concierge? Whatever the case, best of luck (and lots of Aleve) to the publicist assigned to this show. According to the Hollywood Reporter, NBC is in talks with Isaiah Washington's worst enemy — that is, the Grey's Anatomy firestarter himself — about a possible gig (though whether that would be a new or existing series is unclear). In related news, word on the street has it that, since T.R. Knight's insidiously clever scheme to get producers to rethink him as a leading man by getting himself called the F-word and then coming out of the closet has worked so brilliantly, everyone on The Office who is not Steve Carell, Jim or Pam has begun hanging out in gay bars.

I know NBC is run by idiots but I didn't think they'd be this stupid.
Good Luck to the cast and crew who will have to put up with him! They're going to need it!

Law & Order is my sentimental favorite of this franchise, followed by CI and then SVU. I'm not sure if the Waterston/Washington dynamic would work; something about that combo seems odd. Bring back Courteney Vance or Angie Harmon...they could even resurrect Claire Kincaid from the dead. But IW? I just don't see it. I think Waterston's character would try to fire him. Unless they brought back gay Serena and she was prosecuting IW in real life (a made up Ripped from the Headlines) because not only did he use a homophobic slur, he killed the sluree while they were en flagrante. Oh wait, that's almost already been done on SVU. Darn.

NBC is apparently more desperate than anyone realized... I will never watch a new show headlined by Washington and I'd hate to see him take down a show currently on air. [I was one of the few people who never liked the Burke character on Grey's and think the show is better off for having dumped him.]
Like garocks said, good luck finding people who will work with him. Even if one ignores everything from the past year, he already had a bad rep as being difficult to work with. Even some of his early defenders have turned against him now that he's spouting these wackjob conspiracy theories. And now NBC may validate this ridiculous behavior...
Somebody, anybody, shut this man up!!!

Yikes! I love "L&O" but this would be the end of it for me. I am so tired of IW and his "I am so mistreated" act. (Yet when it comes to reading these stories, I can't look away!)

I am not in Washington's corner in Grey-Gate but I cannot believe that people are going to boycott anybody that hires him.
GIVE IT UP!
What happens if NBC puts him on your favorite NBC show? Heroes maybe? He could play they guy who spits fire out his mouth! I will watch him again!

Hey, what is wrong you people. This guy has more talent in his little finger than TR Knight does. Talk about "overreaction". Yes, what he said was stupid.......stupid enough to get fired, hell no!!! I hope he does go to Law and Order or someplace that appreciates him. Katherine Heigl and TR Knight have gotten "too big for their britches" and watch out, they will be causing more trouble as this show goes along. Hang in there Isaih!!!! You are the consummate actor!

Ranger 99,
LOL!!
That would be IW charater's special power!! Everytime he opens his mouth, something foul comes out!! That would be very appropriate!! I would like to see Sylar cut open his head and steal his power!!
Or
Maybe IW can be protrayed as the villain who use the "F" word as weapon in the "Ambiguously Gay Duo" cartoon on SNL next season!!!

If Jeffrey Jones is getting work in Hollywood (i.e. "Who's Your Caddy?"), then I don't know why all of you are surprised that Isaiah Washington is being offered work from NBC. If I'm not mistaken, Jeffrey Jones committed something much more worse.

He is a good actor. He helped to make Grey's in my opinion. If you ask me T.R. Knight's character can go as well as Kathering Heigel. They are so whinny and annoying. I would watch a show with Washington as he is a real actor!

I'll let you guys in on a secret - if you really knew most of your favorite actors you'd probably hate/severly dislike them. Most "hollywood" folks are not nice people. This is something I know and I'll leave it at that.
Talent wise, Isaiah is exceptional. Now, what will everyone say if Jesse L Martin, Sam Waterson, and the rest of L&O come out and say it's a joy working with the man?
I watch tv for entertainment - if you're good, you're good. So, yeah, I'll still watch Grey's and yeah, if Isaiah gets on L&O I'll tune in to see. I don't have to hang out with the guy or even talk to him - just entertain me...

I will watch Law & Order regardless who the actors are b/c the main reason for watching are the plot lines. And I agree that ER has been a great show without all the drama. I'll continue to watch that show as well over Grey's.

i certainly would agree he's a good actor - but right now? i just have no desire to watch him. i may just be overdosing on IW stuff and am tired of his denials and stories. some time later? i will probably be okay watching him on a show ... we all tend to forget!
