Hugh Grant? Yuck.
I hope Michael Buble's performance is a little better than last night's.
What about J-Hud? Will she be making an appearance on-camera? I know she visited the Idols off-camera.
Glad to see Kelly returning to Idol.

Michael Bublé" — Really, again? Can I write his material this time?
Ugh, don't remind me of that. There is nothing more uncomfortable than when a bad joke falls flat. The silence from the audience was so awkward, I could feel it just watching on my TV.
They should try and get back all of the Idols and have them perform together. That would be nice and I haven't seen Ruben Studdard in a while.
I'm still confused about this. Is this a concert or a telethon with musical performances?

I guess the top seven will also be performing on Tuesday with one eliminated (I'd hate to be the one) on Wednesday.
More info from AI site: Here's an update on our special "American Idol Gives Back." More artists have been confirmed including Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant, Helena Bonham Carter, Forest Whitaker, Pink, Gwen Stefani, Mr. Bean - Rowan Atkinson, and Daniel Radcliffe from "Harry Potter!"
In fact so many artists are joining us, we’ve had to book a second venue. We are splitting the live broadcast between the Idol studio and the prestigious Walt Disney Concert Hall, home of the L.A. Philharmonic. And performing from there, we're delighted to announce that our original American Idol is coming home. Kelly Clarkson will sing live.
Tickets will go on sale at 10am on Wednesday, April 11th internet only, log-on to ticketmaster.com. By the way, proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the charity.
Visit our Idol Gives Back section (http://www.americanidol.com/idolgivesback/) for more information about the specials and check back here on Americanidol.com for further details.

Please do. Feel free. Just pick a funny joke this time, OK?

maurine....IT should be the top 6 performing that week...."Inspirational Songs" as was intially announced weeks ago.
I have watch AI since Season One and I think they have (Since season 2) a special the week that there were only six left.
Regarding Michael Buble....even my 81 year-old mother, who is a fna, thought he was terrible the other night. His WHOLE performance needs improvement, not` just his jokes!

It's great that Kelly is making an appearance, good for her. It would really be great if they could get all the past Idols on stage together. AI should also try to get Clay and Katherine to do a duet, that would be amazing. I'm looking forward to watching these shows much more than the regular shows as they have just become crazier and crazier with the elimination order. ~ÐL
