Hugh Hefner: I Want Miley Cyrus in Playboy

Hmm, what's the word? Oh yeah: Ick!

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner tells Extra he'd like Miley Cyrus to pose in his magazine, once the Disney star is of legal age.

Said Hef: "Sure, she’d be welcomed in the magazine. Very pretty lady. And I think to make such a big to-do over something as innocent as those [Vanity Fair] photos, I think is a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality."

Hmm, what's the word? Oh yeah: Ick! ....once the Disney star is of legal age.

Ick? How would that be any different then other 18 or 19 year olds that pose for Playboy? Now it'd be "ick" if he wanted her to do it now, but he's not saying that. Is it only "ick" because the public is seeing Miley grow up in front of the public? I don't think this will ever happen anyway, but I don't see any problem with it given the "legal age" part of Hef's comments. Or are you just opposed to the existence of Playboy in general, which I'm sure a lot of people are. If it did happen she wouldn't be the first child/teen star to bare it all for a magazine, movie, etc later in life as a legal adult.

Speaking for myself, not J.R, I will second that "Ick," because no man Hefner's age — what is he now, 50? 60? (that's me sucking up to the Playboy Enterprises publicists how undoubtedly are having a rough morning today) — should be publicly expressing an interest, whether personal or financially driven, to see a girl who is currently 15 years old naked.

Yes, he ostensibly lobbed in the "when she's legal" qualifier, but to even speculate on it at this time is simply wrong if only because of what it is implying about the profiteering of a non-legal woman's undressed assets.

Hef did say when she was of legal age. I see nothing ick about that. I also agree that those Vanity Fair pics were not that big of a deal. She was covered. Nothing was showing. America is way to puritanical about the human body. Everything is automaticly looked at as sexual. It's not all about sex folks.

I think it is disgusting, whether she is of legal age or not. Mr Hefner is just trying to promote more controversy for Miley. Leave her alone. She is a nice girl, and knows her mistakes.
Why do you want to entice her to make another one. I wonder how many of your girls don't regret posing for your stupid magazine.

The idea of a grown man eyeing underage girls and saying, "Hmm, she'll look great naked someday" IS ick. Ick. And ick.

This is gross!!! He's getting strange for his old age. And he's not aging well either. YUCK!!!

Hefner turned 82 in April!!!

And I very strongly agree with the Ick factor of this "offer".

And, Mr. Hefner, she' not a "pretty lady" she's a GIRL and 3 years away from being a "lady." Get your eyes off of her in that way, it's just wrong! This man is old enough to be her great-grandfather and definitely shouldn't be looking at her like that.

I don't know if you have any teenage granddaughters Mr. Hefner, but would you look at them with that type of eye and ask suggest they pose when old enough?

Matt:
I think Hef is around 80!!!! 60!! PLEASE!! If that's what 60 looks like, there would be millions of people shooting themselves....or running to the plastic surgeon!!

Everyone needs to relax. There is nothing wrong with the nudity or the female body. Both are beautiful. Once anyone famous or not is of legal age they can pose for anything they want. If Miley would like to pose for Playboy then good for her. I personally would by the issue. If not then good for her as well. The real issue is: why is sexuallity so taboo and violence in the media so prevolent?

What Dianora, Tootsie, reesetess and Matt said.

Oh, and "ick" doesn't even begin to cover it.

Now that is disgusting. The fact that he's even looking at her in that way at her age is gross but sadly I'm not surprised. If she were eighteen, it wouldn't be that big of a deal I guess but saying that about a kid is so wrong. What next, Dakota Fanning and her sister making out in his magazine? So stupid.:_|

Ick is quite an understatement!! I find it absolutely disgusting that a grown man would think about a 15 year old girl in that way...whether famous or not. She is still a child. If she was already 18, then it would be different. Most unfamous men who have thoughts like that end up in prison!!!!!

Well, at least he's giving her career options...

And he sure is right about how "schizophrenic America is about sexuality."

If he's having those thoughts, it's only because of the way she - - and most others her age - - present themselves. It's only a fine line to go from "naked looking" in VF to the real thing in Playboy. People who believe otherwise are kidding themselves. And I'm not saying that as a judgement against either. I agree with Slayerdude There is nothing wrong with the nudity or the female body. Both are beautiful.
