Is Heartland not beating strongly enough? TNT has announced that Academy Award winner Holly Hunter's Saving Grace, originally pegged for a July 18 bow and Wednesdays-at-10 time slot, instead will premiere Monday, July 23, serving as The Closer's new lead-out.

Treat Williams' Heartland will stay put until Grace's arrival, at which point it will air two hours earlier, Mondays at 8.

Maybe there wasn't a strong enough lead-in for Saving Grace on Wednesday?

Not good for me, in any event, because that's the same timeslot as Kyle XY. I'll have to dust off the VCR for Heartland.....

I hated Heartland and now that it will go against Kyle, I hope it'll lose lots of viewers and go off the air. Maybe Treat Williams will then return to Brothers and Sisters and 'Nora'.

I caught Heartland last night only because TNT has the nasty habit of waiting till the first commercial break after 10pm to air scenes from next week's The Closer. I don't think there's a more boring actress out there than Kari Matchett. She's got the same expressionless stare she had on Invasion and 24. Treat Williams is reminding me of Joe Martin over on All My Children. :O Scary.

To quote Matt Roush on his review of this show a couple weeks back--"where's the pulse?"
