Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman are all now ultra-super-double-secret officially confirmed to appear in High School Musical 3: Senior Year, a feature-film follow-up set to begin production in spring 2008.

According to the press reelase from Walt Disney Pictures, HSM3 finds high school seniors Troy and Gabriella "facing the prospect of being separated from one another as they head off in different directions to college. Joined by the rest of the Wildcats, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about their future."

Yeesh. Does nobody simply sign yearbooks anymore?

I for one am glad to see some good things come out for young kids these days. The crap that they are pushing on our kids is over the top and something like HSM is a great way to show people that kids want to see movies with morals and values.....Way to go Disney....

The first movie was charming, the second stupid, the third is more than likely going to be another attempt by Disney to suck some more cash out of a once good concept.

I completely agree! So much of what is coming out these days is not what children should be watching. The only thing I am kind of tired of is my co-teacher (we're preschool teachers) constantly singing the songs!!! She has a 9 year old daughter so she watches HSM 2 with her, but it's getting a bit annoying, LOL.

I am happy to watch these movies over and over with my child. They are clean. with no swearing and no violence. In my opinion if you have a hard time watching them or think they are too sweet for you, leave the room and let your kids watch them. They are safe movies.;)
