Heroes' Hayden Wanted for Arrest in Japan
Hayden Panettiere by Chris Weeks/WireImage.com
Hiro, can you help out here? Hayden Panettiere's recent efforts as an animal activist to save dolphins and pilot whales from being hunted in Japan has her picture up in Okinawa post offices (so to speak). "I learned today that I have an arrest warrant out for me in Japan because of what I did for Save the Whales," the Heroes heroine tells E! News, referring to her caught-on-video endeavor. The incident could result in "potentially jail," she says, "but I doubt it. I guess they could come here and get us, but probably not."
But if they do? I say unleash Jessica on 'em!

So basically she said 'I don't give a s..t about the laws in Japan.' Great example there Hayden. Next thing you know she'll being hanging out with Paris, Brit and LL. Apparently fame has gone straight to her head. Any takers on when her first DUI will be?

Are you people kidding me??????? She should be commended for making a statement about what the Japanese are doing to those poor creatures! She is a far better person than Paris, stupid a$$ Britney and Lohan! She certainly doesnt deserve to be arrested! I saw that video on Access Hollywood and what they are doing should be illegal NOT what she did!

Yeah, because this is the same thing as Doing drugs, drinking and driving, and partying too much.
Comparing her to Brittney, Paris, Lindsay, etc. for this incident is just plain ignorance.
If there are consequences for what she did, then fine. She did break a law, so you have to live with whatever you get, but this just isn't in the same ballpark as the rest of them.

Hayden's a long way from being those party girls. People compare her to them because she's been getting the same attention from the paparazzi. I think her attempt at being an animal activist and not caring about the penalty is a bit more respectable than getting coked up in the VIP area of a club and joyriding around LA. Why are people rooting for her to fail?

Saying Hayden's actions are akin to those of the drug-taking, drunk drivers in young Hollywood is high-sterical. Read a little Thoreau, you might learn something about civil disobedience and how it relates here.

Wildbill, you're insane! Hayden isn't even close to those spoiled brats. She may have broke a Japanese law but what they are doing is far worse.

Maybe the question is-was it, or was it not as a panty-less animal activist? I think that's against the law!

That video was horrible. I almost vomitted. What those Japanese people are doing is awful, and they should be put in jail. That has to stop!

Considering her actions were for a good cause--that puts her in the same group as "the party girls"? If legal ramifications come from this, I am sure she is responsible enough to handle it. Wildbill, you and mick jagger should both grow up and try posting intelligent remarks--you might be taken more seriously.

Listen Hayden did a good thing but she also broke the law, in another country at that. She should stand behind her beliefs and take responsibility for her actions. If she broke the law here, she would have to, even in the weird celebrity law. Just because it's a good deed, doesn't mean you should break any laws to enforce and show your beliefs. If she didn't know she was breaking the law, which could be true, then what is she worried about. Is she never going to step foot back in Japan because of this. All I'm saying is no matter how good the deed, take responsibility for your actions. I mean, this could get series if Japan really wants to enforce there laws and go after her. I'm sure Americans will fight tooth and nail for a celebrity,

A warning about the graphic content of animal slaughter for the offered video would definitely be appropriate...

I know you don't choose the picture but can we flog the person who did? This doesn't look anything like her.
